IT IS SAID THAT LIFE CANNOT BEGIN IN THE BIG EMPTY VOID THAT IS SPACE, BUT THIS IS A LIE. A clever one to protect the Universe from a powerful race born with abilities that could either conquer planets or save them. They are the product of what happens when a star falls from its place in the sky and becomes a humanoid to walk the planets which they used to look down upon. The Fallen Stars were both praised and feared throughout the galaxies, they were warriors sworn to protect all of space and time, well, that was until the war came.

The Time War had to be one of the most gruesome and horrific wars in all of time and space and no one agreed with that more than Lady Astraea Ritter, Lieutenant of the 17th Starfleet. She knew she had to do her duty to protect her people as well as their allies, the Time Lords of Gallifrey, so that was exactly what she did. Day after day she fought, day after day she watched as her friends and family were cut down before they could regenerate (an ability they shared with the Time Lords) and day after day she came home covered in the blood of the innocents she failed to protect. On the last day of the War her parents decided to act, they knew they were the last three of their kind so against her will they placed all of what made Astraea a Fallen Star into a locket before sending her through a space-time rift just as the two of them were shot down by the Daleks.

Astraea awoke in London and the haphazard time travel caused an accident age regression — leaving her body 16 again — but worst of all, she had no idea who she was. That was when Juniper Holloway was born: an orphan with the mind of a genius and a heart full of kindness, a girl who quickly adapted to the new environment she was thrown into. No one had a clue as to where the strange girl had come from and if you were to ask her, she would just shrug and tell you that she had amnesia so she had no idea who she truly was. Her peculiar background didn't stop her from going to College nor University to study astronomy (ironic, I know) as well as business. Her love for business is what led her to acquiring a secure and important job at a local department store which is where she met a young woman by the name of Rose Tyler.

Rose looked up to the blonde woman 'seven' years her senior and was incredibly grateful that Juniper had given her a chance. From then on, their friendship blossomed. Juniper took the younger woman under her wing, caring for her like an older sister would and that is exactly what they were like to one another — sisters. They were happy to live their ordinary lives, contently and peacefully.

Then one night, when the store's plastics come to life, a mysterious man grabs both hers and Rose's wrists and takes them away from their boring, dull lives and into the crazy world that the limitless Universe has to offer. But the thing is, Juniper isn't so sure that she hasn't seen all these things before, something at the back of her mind was awakening and it scared her.

So, they must work together to save the Earth, hopefully finding out about Juniper's past along the way, even if it takes centuries, even if it takes until the stars burn.

So I've just finished watching Doctor Who from Season 1 (2005) to current because I haven't previously had the chance to and I have to say, I'm in love with it. I kept debating whether or not to post this book considering how many I have on the go already, but I have no self control and had to publish it.
