"Well there is always next time" Billy smiled at her and grabbed her hand," It's nice to finally meet you Juliet, and you don't have to worry about feeling like you don't belong here. Hopefully, after tonight, you'll understand" He said discreetly looking at Embry who nodded telling him he was going to finally tell her.

She wanted so badly to know why Maya, Embry and now Billy all said the same thing. All of them had said that she'll feel like she belongs there and now with three people saying it, she was now starting to believe it.

She left the adults and walked with Embry to sit around the campfire," I'm starting to think your parents know a lot more than they say they do"

Juliet looked at Embry and then grinned," Oh you have no idea, honestly I bet they know more than the locals at this point" She joked," They even believe in the cold ones? That's the term preferred to be used right?"

He shot his head up and looked at her," uh yeah-So what do they think about them?" It was a natural instinct for him to put his guard up and anything that came to danger her, would set off his radar," Hmm-Kind of like how I think about them, to be honest; we know they exist, but we don't explore further than we need, unless it involves us personally"

"But wolves do?" He asked as she sat next to him, once the heat of the flames had finally touched her skin, she felt calm and all of her nerves were suddenly gone

"Yep, it's actually what most of their research is about, but unlike their other stories, these ones are only for there eyes only"

"So, they never published about wolves?" He questioned. The pair of them were so focused on their conversation that they didn't notice the rest of the pack and elders gathering.

They had been listening to their conversation wanting to hear what she was going to say. It was not suspicion, but more of interest to actually hear someone who didn't grow up in the reservation and grow up in the Native lands with the stories that were told to children like their bedtime stories.

"No never-Like I told Maya, Seth and Aniya, we want to respect all the ancestors and not just exploit their stories for money. My parents thrive on just sitting in their offices just reading and talking to me or each other. It's mainly because my family had been shunned for sharing an interest in other cultures, so we embrace them all since we can't focus on ours. I mean we still do, but now there aren't the restraints we had before"

Seth had accidentally blurted out," Wow" snapping the pair of them out of their deep conversation. Once Juliet had realized how many people were gathered, she felt her face burn.

Billy who was sitting next to Quil Senior lightly nudged his elbow to his friend," Now you see why I like the Michael's so much" Juliet looked at Billy hearing him loud and clear as the others around them laughed as she smiled grateful.

Maya who was sitting on the other side of Juliet threw her arm over her shoulder," I told you, everything will just be fine" Juliet leaned into her friend humming thanks. Once Juliet had properly introduced herself, Billy had begun to tell the Legends.

Juliet's eyes lit hearing the story, as she leaned on Embry who had an arm over her shoulder.
