The following day, Jamiela Baratheon woke up eagerly. In fact, too eagerly. She put on a simple baby blue dress, with a white smock, and tied her hair in a ponytail, keeping it away from her face.

She opened the door, with a soft creak, before slipping out silently. Her black shoes make it easy for her to dart around the halls in utter silence, making no sound at all.

Jamiela took a deep breath, and reached out to knock on the door leading to Ned's quarters, but it swung open before she was given the chance, and the Baratheon came face-to-face with Lyanna Stark. "Come on in."

She didn't waste any second moving inside, Lyanna closing the door behind her. "What are you doing here?" asked Jamiela, incredulously.

Lyanna gave her a sheepish smile. "Well, I overheard what you and Ned planned, and begged my brother to tag along." Lyanna gave a low chuckle. "At first, he wasn't ecstatic about it, but I got him to agree."

"And she indeed made me agree. In exchange for being a good husband to my friend, Robert." The two ladies turned to the voice, belonging to no other men, but Ned Stark.

The Stark gave a glum sigh, and shot her brother a look. "I was getting there, Ned, but yes, that was our small deal." Jamiela watched the two Starks exchange a skeptical look.

They're hiding something from me, Jamiela thought suspiciously, but they were her friends, so the brunette stayed quiet, and kept the revelation to herself only, but felt angered.

"Alright, if we want to go unnoticed, I suggest we go now, right brother?" Lyanna nudged her brother's elbow, who snapped at once. "Of course! Um, let's go, my lady." He offered Jamiela his hand, who shook it away.

"I'm perfectly capable of walking myself, thank you very much." She said angrily, before leaving the quarters to go ahead. Lyanna and Ned shared another look, before following suit.

Jamiela kicked the rocks out of anger, once they were walking towards the village. Ned and Lyanna kept their distance, but the Baratheon could feel their worried eyes on her.

Gods, why is everything like this?, Jamiela's mind kept spitting out troubling thoughts, and curses at the two. If they burn in Hell, I will..

"Jamiela! You're going to bruise your toes. Stop it!" She whirled to hear Ned, and pushed back down the insults Jamiela badly wanted to retort, starting with their betrothal.

"Fine." She muttered, but halted. Jamiela did not understand why she was listening to a friend who was currently hiding something from her, but it was for the best... and for her toes, too, she added quickly.

Lyanna and Ned were picking their pace, as Jamiela slowed down a bit, as the trio arrived in the village, wherein Jamiela had a troubling experience, and where Lyanna and her became good friends. She shuddered at the first one.

Jamiela kept her head down, to avoid onlookers, as someone suddenly gripped her hand at once, causing her to flinch, before the realization of it being Ned hit her.

Lyanna was already ahead, as the betrothed couple decided to take it slow, their hands occasionally brushing one another's as they walked. Jamiela still was wary towards any more bandits, but bit back her fear.

"Jamiela? Are you.. alright?" Ned asks, and Jamiela just nods at once, hoping he didn't see her sudden eager attitude. "Yes, I'm.. I'm okay." She gives him a smile, and he reflects it, only with uncertainty.

Ned shrugs half-heartedly. "Alright. But if you are troubled, you are free to tell me your worries, my lady." He pulls her hands close, and gently kisses it. Jamiela nods.

"Of... of course." She shakes away any blush, but the ghost of his lips still lingered on her hands like a haunting spirit.

"Where have you been, Jamiela!?" Robert's angry voice bounced through the room like an echo.., well it truly was an echo.

"I.. I was out with Lyanna and Ned." Robert nearly smacked himself, with his own hand. "Gods! Why did you bring them into this.. this mischief of yours! Argh.."

Jamiela had no clue what to say, so she kept quiet, to listen to what Robert had to say furthermore.

"Look, I swear if something happens to my dear.. I'm just saying.., Jamiela, you are my sister. I love you, and I care about you, alright? I know you have distaste for me, and that I'm too much of a fuckboy, but you have to at the very least try to be a lady! What is so fucking hard about that? I mean, really? It's harder to rule a land, you know.." Jamiela felt angered by her brother's words. It seemed to him that ladies were just... mere toys to cook lords meals, and be a good plaything. Oh no, you little shrewd pighead, Jamiela thought.

She balled her fists. "You think it's hard? Well, you don't know how much is it to be a lady, more than a lord. A lady has more limits, than a man like you, Robert!" Her voice raised, and Robert raised an eyebrow, but frowned.

"Gods, Jamiela. You really are like Mother." He gave a grunt, before turning away. "Prepare the ships!" He shouted to a servant, who bowed and darted off. Confused, Jamiela turned to Robert. "What..what are you doing?"

Her brother turned to her. "I'm doing what's best for House Baratheon. You will be in charge of everything for now, with Jon Arryn helping you out. House Stark and I..., we have matters to deal on our own." Robert stood, and for once, Jamiela thought he actually did look like a ruler. A king like how Jon raised him to be like. Not a man who thinks nothing about women nor wine.

Jamiela's heart raced, as she watched Robert turn to leave her. "Wait!" She shouted, amidst all the preparation. Her brother halted, and looked back at his Baratheon sister. "Yes?"

She flung at him and hugged Robert, who flinched, but slowly gave in. Jamiela hugged him for as long as she could.

"Be safe, my brother. I love you."
