Wow. Can you believe I'm doing another one of these.

Let the rant begin.

So we have this event in choir called Solo and ensemble. It's a competition that you either sing a solo or you sing in a duet, trio, quartet etc. well at my school, we only sing a solo cuz we are not cool. Anyways. That event takes place in a town a little far. Every middles school and junior high choir in my region is going here. Well. Only if they want to. But anyhows. I'm entering this competition. Oh wait. I have to explain more! So in this competition, I have to sing in front of a judge. What's this different from the All region tryouts? Well, you have to sing from memory, you have to look at the judge, and you have to TALK to the judge. Eeeekkk! So the song I'm doing is (skip this if you don't care) called "Follow the Drinking Gourd" it's a pretty rossome song. I've pretty much memorized it.

Now........ For the beef of this rant.

I HAVE TO WEAR A STUPID DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALLLL DAY! 15 HOURS!!!!!!!! They said we could change into our formal wear at school. But I don't have enough room in my backpack since we also have to carry OUR DINNER, SNACKS AND DRINKS!!!!!!!  So I have to wear a short dress (I say short because it goes just a little over my knees.) in the MIDDLE OF JANUARY! So yeah. The event takes place two weeks from Friday. I can't wait! And I might record me singing... Or somethin like that I dunno.
