A/N: this here is every update that I've had so far for the Male Host of Venom x MCU story.

(Incarnation of Venom).

The first thing is what Venom will be like in the story and how will the story of how him and the reader first meet be. To start things off, I've chosen the 2018 incarnation of Venom from the 2018 film.

To match that, his personality is the same as it was within the movie. Where he began as a malicious and controlling being towards the host, but, eventually managed to bond with the host and grew to appreciate humanity as well as agreeing with the reader that they should only kill criminals and "Bad Guys".

For the story of when venom and the reader will meet. It will play similar to the Venom film with some minor changes made not only to help it fit within the MCU, but, to also help out within the story of the reader itself and add in certain things that weren't added within the film before to make it a little more interesting.

(Inspiration for The Story's Venom).

This story's version of Venom's base inspiration is of the 2018 film Venom as well as taking certain inspirations in personality, abilities and/or certain appearances from Comic Venom, PS1 Venom, MVC Venom, Revoltech Venom, Spectacular SM Venom and VS GAG's Venom.

(Abilities of Venom).

Venom's abilities throughout a lot of the story for a while will mostly comprised of him using his own biomass to either help him swing around, shield himself, create weapons, can change the clothes of the host and can of course transfer the memories of a previous host onto another one.

He does eventually gain the ability to make his own webbing. But that is saved in the update in where he also get's his spider symbol.

(Where the Events of Venom will take place in the Story).

Next has to do with when the events of the Venom story will take place in the MCU. Well, at first it was going to be a couple of Months after the Events of The first Avengers film. And the Reader was going to at least 2 years older than Peter was. However, I thankfully I did some rechecking. And here's the thing:

Since Peter in the MCU was born in August 10th, 2001 and he was at the age of 15 or 16 around the time of Civil War (which happened in 2016), it seemed very likely that he was around the age of 11 or 12 during the Chitauri Invasion. So making the reader 2 years older than he was while doing the story only a couple of months after the first Avengers would be off since you would only be 14 or so at that point.

So I'll do it like this, The Events of Venom will take place sometime during 2015 (The main events of the film after the 6 month timeskip) rather than simply 2012. You'll be around 21 to 22 years of age during that time.

(Since I'm pretty sure you have to be around 18 or higher to get a job as an investigative journalist).

I'll also age up Gwen to around this as well so this doesn't make things odd. Plus, it'll make sense why she isn't seen in the same Highschool as peter and not a love interest of his.

(Besides, The MCU seemed fine aging down Aunt May so aging up Gwen to 20 won't hurt).

It still gives you enough time to do your own kind of stuff afterward and even develop relationships (non-romantic with peter obviously) and you get to know each other before the events of Infinity War.

The events of Venom will remain in San Francisco. However, The Reader and Venom will move to New York sometime after the defeat of Riot, but before meeting Cletus Kasady. The Reader would go to New York to try and get a new and fresher start at a journalist job, and interviewing Cletus Kasady seemed like an interesting first step.

(Meanwhile Segments).

There will be meanwhile sections that will have events of the movies play out so we'll know what's going on while you're dealing with stuff.

The story will also include parts of the Prelude comics as well for some extra stuff as well as give you some rouges who weren't directly introduced into the MCU for you to fight or come into contact with.

(Venom and Spider-Man's Relationship in the Story).

And now for the one I'm positive many people are curious on.

What the relationship between Venom and Spiderman will be in the MCU male reader story.

When I mean relationship, I refer to how venom will be towards spiderman in the story in comparison to the comics, where Venom and his host, eddie brock, share a hatred towards spiderman

To put it simply, Venom will not carry any sort of hatred towards Spiderman in the story. He does however start off not being too fond of him and finds his superhero name stupid. It especially doesn't help that Venom doesn't like it when Peter tells him not to eat people even if they're bad. He does eventually grow a soft spot for the kid during the time both he and the reader get to know him.

(Venom and Readers' Allies and Enemies in The Story).

Aside from making eventual Allies with Peter Parker and going to have and a relationship with Gwen Stacy, the reader will actually have a pre-existing friendship with Max Dillon before he ever becomes Electro. (And there's your ex considering this venom is based on the 2018 film version).

Venom and The Reader will find themselves having allies from other heroes and even having certain adventure/events with them that aren't just Avengers related.

Then there's of course villains for the Reader and Venom to fight other than Electro and The MCU's existing villains. These villains range from certain Spider-Man villains, such as Carnage and other Symbiotes.

And there will even be a greater force coming into play sometime way after endgame.

(Spider-Gwen's name by the Public).

The public will refer to Spider-Gwen as Ghost Spider as a name that Gwen called herself to keep her name secret.

When she's in her superhero suit speaks or when I bring up her superhero name in the stuff I type when they're doing something, she'll go by Spider-Gwen (When the suit or mask is off, she goes by gwen. And yes, I'm doing a similar thing with Peter/Spider-Man).

(Venom's Spider Symbol and Webbing).

I'll be answering the the important question if Venom in the story will ever get the infamous demonic spider symbol.

To answer, yes, he will have the symbol. However, there's a bit of a catch. It will be at a much more later time down the road. The Symbol won't be exactly like the one that is most well-known.

The Symbol will be made in a way that it looks like the white vanes on Venom's body are connecting together and forging a Spider Symbol similar to the one Peter has in the MCU.

Venom getting said symbol eventually will play a part in something.

And much like how he'll get his symbol, Venom will also be getting his webbing after bonding with Spider-Man at some point. But for now, he'll be using his tentacles to help swing around. And once he gets the webbing, it will be a somewhat different from how Peter and Gwen's are.

(Will Morbius and Other Sony Characters be in The Story)?

this update is more on something I've just thought about in mind. It has to do with Morbius, since the character is going to have a movie set in the same universe as Tom Hardy's Venom.

To Answer the question, it kinda depends honestly. If there's really even anything in mind I can do with him or anything in the Sony film universe happens between the two that seems interesting enough to do. But for now, there's not much I have in mind for Morbius.

(Deadpool and Other Marvel Characters will have Cameos or Bigger Roles).

Deadpool (next to some of the main characters from his first two films) and other Marvel characters who aren't in the MCU will show up from time to time in the story. Cameos or big roles.

(What the Reader, Venom and Others will be doing during the 5-Year Gap).

I'm considering on doing a storyline or two that take place during the 5-year gap in endgame. Possibly showing a further look on how the Reader, Venom and other characters are having to deal with the loss of half the life in the universe.

(Changing the Captain Marvel vs Thanos Fight).

this is more of a quick update in regards to the Endgame portion of the story. Particularly in the final battle during the moment Captain Marvel is facing off with Thanos WHEN he put on the gauntlet and attempted to snap his fingers.

I'm going to be changing it up just a little to have it where Carol struggles against Thanos while keeping him from snapping his fingers for 4 reasons.

1. To give Captain Marvel her first challenge against a foe.

2. To Keep the Threat of Thanos still there.

3. It'll also act as a callback to one of the moments from the Captain Marvel Solo film.

4. Just so I don't have people bitching about it in my fucking comments over it.

However, that's not to say Thanos will be effortlessly whop her or that she'll be alone. Considering this version of the character is mostly based a lot on his 2018 film counterpart, Venom wouldn't exactly want to stand by and try to let Thanos snap his fingers again. Not after everything. He'd join in the fight as well.

(What Venom and The Reader will do in Phase 4).

This mainly has in regards for what will go on with the Reader and Venom during Phase 4. Especially Given Phase 4's films and shows have been revealed (as well as some of Phase 5).

To answer for this, I already had something planned for the reader even before phase 4 was shown off

He'll be dealing with some of problems that peter/spiderman will have to face after the events of far from home as well as having to face off with a VERY Dangerous Villain. And some of that of course could lead into phase 5.

(Likely to have a Spider-Verse Event).

The last part of this update has to do with Something I'm very much considering doing mostly for entertainment purposes. Sometime much after Endgame, Far From Home, Spider-Man 3 and other certain events, I'm kinda thinking of doing an into the Spider-verse event in which It would see the Spider-Man of your universe ends up getting sucked into one of the portals from the first spider-verse film. And when you and Gwen try to pull him out, you both only end up with him and find yourself in the presence of other spider-men and women due to a massive threat. And for the record, this isn't an attempt to make Into the Spider-Verse canon. The Characters from that film will play a part in the Spider-verse event, but the film isn't canon. Think of it like a version of Spider-Verse 2 (even if we've still got 2 more years) but different characters as the mains.

And that's just about everything so far for the venom story. Next I'll do every update for the voltron story and others that'll follow after that of course.
