Shane's POV
After a long day of setting up the scenery, I take an Uber home. When I reached the gates I put my hands on the smart panel installed at the gate and when my finger prints are recognized, the gate opens and I walk in and head upstairs to my room.

"Good evening master Shane"  the family assistant says getting my attention.
"Good evening Mr emeka" I say turning to him with a smile.

" What would you like to eat for dinner" he says smiling.
"Macaroni" I say and he leaves the room.

I sit on my bed and reminisce about my day. I hanged out with my friends, I did a painting of an upside down tree which took me nearly three hours but it worth it and then the meeting with Valerie.

She seemed okay this time but I couldn't help but feel like she wasn't used to socializing, the way she keeps on a rigid face and when she looks relaxed she doesn't smile. I was really shocked when she gave me a high five and when she looked at me and lied about the tree *laughs*

She talked like she hardly got a word out and the place of hope makes me realize that she's hurt in some way.

When she was saying how much the place meant to her, I was seeing the pain and hope in her eyes at her self expression. It felt like she takes things hard on herself and I wonder why

A knock on the door pulls me out of my thoughts.
"Come in" I say and my macaroni with chicken sausage e and grilled chicken arrives.

I thank chef foluke and eat to my fill
When I'm done,I go to my dad's room but once again he hasn't come home .

My dad, Mr Edwards is a business tycoon that holds businesses all over the world. He was just a small time business management few years ago until he found one of the most rare diamonds on Earth.
