Bani , Veer called out to her from inside the room.

Hearing no response from her side ,he walked downstairs only to see her cooking something in the kitchen.

Without making any noise , Veer went and hugged her from back startling her.

Yeh kya harkatein hai , Veeranshu
she turned around and asked him, glaring at him.

He winked at her in return and came more close to her only to be pushed by her.

Not fair gharwali ,tumne itna achha moment kharab kardia , Veer said making a sad face.

Veer mazak karna bandkaro,mujhe aaj bahut kaam hai , so don't disturb me , she said in a serious tune.

Par main kya karun ,I can't stay away from you , sweetheart , he spoke dreamily.

Bani came close to him, pinched his cheeks and spoke , Par kya karun sweetheart, tumhe jaana toh padega na.

Veer made a sad face while Bani kissed his cheeks.

I will miss you , Veer she said and moved away from him.

Then I'm not going , he spoke coming more close to her.

Veer don't be a kid now ,both of us know that it is important for you to go to US , she spoke seriously.

Teek hai main jaaunga he said sadly.

Now be a good boy and get ready, don't forget that you have to leave in an hour , she said pushing him away from the kitchen.

Don't push ,main khud jaaungi , he said but Bani kept on pushing him until he was away from the kitchen.

He sulked and moved away from the kitchen , while Bani smiled looking at him walking away ,seeing his childishness.

As Veer was all set to leave for the airport , everyone was sad. Afterall without Veer , Singhania mansion always felt empty.

Veer bhai ,kab wapas aajaogi ,
Ponky was the one to speak .

Within two weeks most probably ,but if things take a bit too long it can even extend to a month , he replied.

Hearing a month , Bani's face became dull. She would definitely miss him so much if he stayed away for that long.

Without showing that in her face ,she tried to keep a straight face ,only to be noticed by Veer.

He came closer to her ,kept his hands on her cheeks and asked ,rather worried
Kya hua sweetheart ,sab kuch teek hai na?

But Bani being her usual self , didn't care much about expressing her feelings to him.

Haa main teek hoon , tumhe late ho rahe na ,phir time waste kyun kar rhe ho ,jaao na.

U know how to destroy a moment gharwali ,teek hai ,main jaarahi hoon , he spoke dejectedly.

Bani was warming up to him a lot these days but she never said she loved him.

Veer was happy as he knew that he was important for her ,but still he wanted her to express in words how much he meant for her and what place he had in her life.

But he was now fed up of asking her ,so he thought to keep silent so that she could speak to him when she wishes.

As Veer was about to enter the car , Bani called him.

He turned around and she hugged him tightly , making his heart flutter in happiness.

He caresses her hair and kissed on her head.

She moved away from the hug and holding both his hands on hers she spoke
Jaldi aana Veeranshu , I can't afford to miss you for this long.

He smiled at her statement ,only to smirk at her and said ,
Aaj kal tum pigal rahi ho ,aadinaagin.

Whatever, take care and have a safe journey , she spoke as if she didn't hear his words.

She smiled at him while Veer waved her a bye while sitting on the car and moving away from her towards his destination.

Veer had just come back to his hotel room after closing a huge deal which would be really beneficial for their company.

After freshening up ,he grabbed his phone ,only to smile looking at his phone. Yes ,her pic was his home screen and lock screen wallpaper.

Seeing the pic ,he felt like calling her which he immediately did.

Bani picked up in the first bell as if she was waiting for his call.

Kya baat hai gharwali ,lagraha hai ki tum mera intezar kar rahi thi ,
he teased her.

Nahi , actually I took my phone just now and that is when you called ,kuch zyada math sochna ,
she tried to lie ,while biting her tongue.

I know ki tum aise hi jawab dogi , waise mujhe bhi yeh bhi pata hi ki that you are biting your tongue right now ,hain na ...

Haan she replied absent mindedly without realising that he had caught her lie.

Bani ,tum kab tak tumhari feelings ke baare mein jhoot bologi mujhse...

Bani instead of saying anything remained silent.

Fine ,agar tumhe silent rehna hai then I'm cutting the call ,mujhe bahut kaam hai ,it's not like I came here to chill ... Veer was getting mad right now seeing Bani's reponse.

But before he could cut the call ,she spoke.. Veeranshu.

Hearing her call his name ,his heart melted just like that.

Tum teek ho na ,aaj ki meeting kaise thi?

Accha tha , he tried to speak less not wanting to expect anything from her side.

Are u mad at me , Veer..
she asked him.

Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai Bani ,I'm cutting the call ,see you later ..

Without waiting for her response ,he cut the call.

On the other side Bani felt sad that Veer cut the call abruptly.

Veer sach mein mujhse naraaz hain she told herself ,while a tear drop fell from her eye.

After cutting the call , Veer felt upset as he felt he was not important for Bani. Maybe she didn't really want him like he did ,she must be still with him because she felt committed to him due to their marriage and since dhabbewala was now out of picture she didn't leave him.

Thinking about this was making him go crazy that he decided to go the night club to cool his tensed mind.

He dressed up casually but still managing to look handsome.

Meanwhile Bani felt so depressed thinking that she had made Veer upset that she didn't even have her dinner.

She took a fresh shower and wore Veer's white shirt along with a loose pants and went to the terrace to get some fresh air.

She sat in a chair ,with her phone on her lap ,gazing the stars in the night sky ,shining ever so beautifully.

Veer ,mujhe pata hai ki main apne feelings tumse share nahi karti ,isliye tumhe bura lagraha hai.

Par kya karun I'm not used to being an open book regarding my feelings like you.

Meri situations aisi thi ki I had to create a shield around me so that nobody would understand the scared insecure Bani behind the strong headed Bani jo sab kuch akeli handle karti hai like a pro.

Par ab tum dekho ,jab bhi tum wapas aajaogi ,main apni dil ki baat tumse share karungi ,sirf tumse. I can't see you upset like this , Veer.

She told herself , determined to make everything right once he comes back from his trip.

The atmosphere suddenly felt cold that she got up from her seat and walked to her , rather their room.

She lazily lay down on the bed as she didn't have anything to do.

As she was scrolling through her insta ,she suddenly saw a pic which made her eyes red with anger.

Veer was kissing some random girl on her cheeks while she hugged him sidewards.

He hasn't even kissed me like that ,
she told herself .

If looks could kill that girl would have been dead right now.

Isse milne ke liye , Veer US gayi,
her insecure mind started framing stories of its own.

She tried to call him ,but he didn't pick up even after she called him fice times.

Matlab woh ladki mujhse zyada important hai , she wiped her tears again and again unable to stop herself from bursting out.

Par Veer mujhe pyaar karti hai ,woh aisa mere saath kabhi nahi karega , par what if he is angry at me because... she couldn't complete her own sentence due to her insecurities.

She decided to call him one final time and that is when he attended her call,

Tumhe kya chaiye Bani ,if I don't take the call it means that I don't want to talk to you now ,please baar baar aisa call math karna.

Without saying anything , Bani cut the call and breaking into tears later on.

Nobody wants me in their life.
Maine socha ki Veer mere saath hamesha rahega,par now even he doesn't want me.

I don't have anyone to call my own.
Koi mera apna nahi hai.

She cried her to sleep tighly holding onto herself , clutching Veer's shirt which she had worn as she was missing him too badly.

She woke up the next morning with the sound of her phone ringing.

Without even opening her eyes ,she attended the call only to hear Veer's voice , Sorry sweetheart ,maine kuch zyada bol dia kal.

Bani got angry listening to his voice ,that she cut the call instantly without giving him a reply.

Veer called again and again. She either cut the call or kept the call silent. She didn't want to talk to him right now.

Veer understood that Bani was really upset with him. So he thought to surprise her by catching the next flight to India. Anyways his work had finished much faster than he had imagined.It had just been a week and he had cracked the deal.

Veer had finally reached Singhania mansion in the early morning. He didn't inform Bani as he wanted to surprise her.

He slowly came to his room ,only to see his sweetheart sleeping peacefully on his side of the bed and the most adorable part was she was wearing his shirt.

Accha gharwali ,so this is what you do in my absence, huh,not bad...

He smiled looking at her innocent face and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

After having a shower, he slept beside her , maintaining a distance between them so as to not to startle her while sleeping.

Bani was the first one to wake up in the morning. She turned to the right side of the bed only to see Veer sleeping right next to her. He looked so innocent while sleeping like a small baby.

She was about to caress his hair in happiness and that is when she got reminded of the previous day's incident.

She woke up from the bed angrily and went to the garden to breathe in some fresh air.

Veer woke up in a while only to find the other side of the bed empty.

Yeh gharwali subah uthke kaha chali gayi , he muttered to himself in surprise.

He checked the washroom , balcony and even the kitchen only to find her missing from there.

Before he could think of going out ,he saw her sitting outside on a bench in the garden,totally lost in herself.

He went and sat beside her , making her aware of his presence.

As she was about to get up ,he quickly held her hand, I'm sorry Bani.

She didn't even look at him and stood still. Veer came towards her , held her chin by his right hand ane asked her ,
Abhi bhi mujhse naraaz hain,kya?

She removed his hand from her chin and started moving away,only to be pulled back by Veer ,such that her back was now facing his chest.

He slowly hugged her from the back by holding onto her waist , while Bani was fuming in anger and sadness.

Chodo mujhe , she said in anger trying to free herself from his group.

Itni asaani se main haar nahi manogi sweetheart , he spoke without knowing what Bani was feeling.

Bani freed herself from his clutch, turned towards him and spoke,
Kya chaiye , tumhe?

Tum chaiye mujhe , he said naughtily.

Will I be enough for you , she asked emotionally, tears about to fall from her eyes.

Sweetheart kya hua, tum aise baatein kyun kar rahi ho , he asked worried , trying to wipe her tears with his hands.

Rehne do ,veer .. she said wiping her tears on her own.

What is it Bani,what is bothering you , batao mujhe ,hum kuch na kuch rasta dhoondlenge..

Iska koi rasta nahi hai , Veer. Sab khatam hogaya ,ab kuch nahi hosakta , she spoke still crying.

Now Veer was getting mad , Bani agar tum mujhe nahi batoage ,then mujhe kaise pata hoga.

Dekho ,you are getting angry. Are you also fed up with me now ? Tum bhi mujhe chodke jaa rahe ho?.

She broke down into tears ,breaking Veer's heart into pieces.

Sweetheart ,gharwali ,main tumhe kabhi akela nahi chodunga. Main hamesha saath doonga tumhara ,I promise , he said trying to hug her ,while she stopped him from doing so.

Please don't give me broken promises.I don't have the strength to bear any more heartbreak.
I know you are done with me Veer and I don't blame you for that.
Nobody wants me in their life, maybe it's because I'm not worthy of love. Ab tumhe bhi lag raha hai na that it's a waste to love me ,care for me . Tumhari galti nahi hai , she spoke , wiping her tears and looking at Veer.

Veer took Bani's hands ,placed them on his chest and pulled her more close to him by her waist.

Veer,tum....

Without allowing her to complete ,he kept his right palm over her mouth.

Tumne bahot bol dia ,av main bolunga and you will listen to me..
he said firmly.

I don't know tumhe yeh sab thoughts kaise aati hai , maine tumse kitne baar bola hai ki main tumse pyaar karta hoon even when u hated me.
Tho ab mere feelings kyun change karunga tumhare liye ?.
Bani ,you are enough for me ,mujhe aur kuch nahi chaiye unless you want to go away from me.

He kissed her on her forehead , while she closed her eyes in relief.

Ab batao kya baat hai , he asked her softly.

Pakka hai na ki tumhe mujhe chodke nahi jaage , she asked like
a kid.

Pakka ,jab tak main zinda hoon main tumhare saath doonga , he said smiling.

Nahi ,marne ke baad bhi tumhe mere saath hona padega ,aise main tumhe nahi chodne wali , she spoke while Veer could only smile at her cuteness.

Phir woh ladki kaun hai , she asked ,looking suspiciously at him.

Kaun ladki , Veer didn't understand what she was intending.

Bahan mat banao , main uss ladki ki baare mein baat kar rahi hoon jisse tum kiss kar rahe the ,kaun hai woh ladki, mujhe abhi jaan na hai.. Bani glared at him while Veer laughed looking at her.

Has kyun rahe ho , kaun hai woh ,was she your ex- girlfriend or something ki tumhe itni haso aarahi hai ,usse milne ke liye tum US gayi? she asked him all her possible doubts that has been lingering in her mind since the previous night after seeing the picture.

Veer couldn't stop himself from laughing hearing Bani's question.

Kya baat hai gharwali,tumne itna sab kuch sochliya ek pic dekhke ,I can't believe this is you Bani....

Haso mat Veer,I want to know who she is ,tumne uske baare mein mujhe kabhi baataya nahi..
she started thinking.

Teek hai ,main bataunga ki woh ladki kaun hai. Par usse pehle tum mujhe yeh batao ki agar woh mera ex hai toh kya tumhe iss baat ka fark padega?

Veer maine pehle tumse pucha hai ,toh uska jawab do , she said trying to avoid his question.

Jab tak tum mera sawaalon ka jawaab nahi deta ,main bhi tumhe koi jawab nahi doonga Bani..

This time Veer was firm. He wanted to know what was going in Bani's mind from her mouth

Teek hai. You wanted my answer right? Toh sunno. Agar woh ladki tumhara ex hai mujhe fark padega because tum uska bahut kareeb the aur tumne usse kiss bhi kiya.

Kyun farak padega , Bani... Veer asked her.

Kyunki main tumhari patni hoon ,aur tumhe mere alawa kisi aur ladki ke itna kareeb nahi hona chaiye , tum sirf mere ho ,sirf aur sirf mere... She spoke with so much authority which Veer liked and he kissed her cheeks in happiness, shocking the hell out of Bani.

Coming out of the shock ,she asked him , yeh kya tha.

Tumne toh kaha tha that I should only be close to you ,toh maine woh kia jo mujhe bahut pehle karna chaiye tha, par kya karun sweetheart tumne bahut der kardi..
he spoke smirking at her.

She blushed crimson red , keeping her eyes down ,unable to look at him.

Veer made her look at him and said,
Woh meri behen hai.

Huh, Bani was shocked to hear that.

Haa , she is the sister of my friend Rishi . More than friend he is like my brother. Mera bachpan ka dost hai woh. So Ri ,matlab Ritika is the sister that I never had . Woh ab US main pad rahi hai aur maine unexpectedly usse club main mili thi. Aur woh pic uske phone mein click kia tha isliye maine nahi post kia. I told her to send it to me but I think she has forgotten.

Bani felt ashamed of herself on thinking so low of Veer. How could she even think like that about her husband ?

I know tumhe yeh word pasand nahi hai Veer,par phir bhi.
I am really sorry ki maine tumhare baare mein aisa socha...

She started looking down,unable to face him.

It's ok sweetheart ,waise accha hi hua ,jo mai abhi tak nahi karpaya ,ek photo ki wajah se hua..
Veer said smirking.

Matlab.. she asked him confused.

Matlab yeh hai ki maine kitne
baar koshish ki so that you would reveal your feelings to me. But ab dekho without any effort of mine,ek pic ki wajah se tumne bola na ki main sirf tumhara ho.

Veer, she hit him on his shoulders playfully.

Kya Veer,maine sach hi toh bola..
Waise Bani ,Ri ne kaha ki she wants to meet you really soon.

Kyun?

Kyunki you had the courage to marry me ,she wants to appreciate you for that ... Veer spoke laughing.

For your kind information Mr.Veeranshu Singhania ,I didn't marry you willingly.Tumne mujhse zabardasti shaadi ki bhool gayi kya..

Kuch bhi ,par baat toh yeh hai ki you tolerated me for this long ,chodke chali nahi gayi tum..

Bani smiled at him and hugged him tighly, I will never stop troubling you , tumhe mujhse jhelna padega.

I wil happily be yours to be troubled , forever sweetheart.

He hugged her tightly, kissing him her on her hairs.

Withdrawing from the hug he spoke
I didn't know that you missed me that badly , sweetheart.

Matlab you are wearing my shirt which essentially means you were missing me way too much hain na..

Agar yeh tumhe pata hai ,toh phir mujhse kyun puch rahi hoon...

Kyunki ki yeh mujhe tumhare muh se sunna hai ...

She kissed him on his cheeks and whispered in his ears , I missed you husband .

Veer was shocked at her boldness.

Not bad gharwali ,lagta hai ki you are learning to be romantic from me , I must say you are an fast learner.

She put her arms around his neck and asked , Aur kis se seekhun mein.

He smiled heartfully and held her more close while Bani enjoyed the closeness which could clearly be seen in her eyes.
