In this story Rapunzel [In my opinion the person who is most likely to ship people] tries to get you and Varian to admit your feelings for each other. You both are friends, again, in this story. Sorry if this one isn't as good as the other one.

  Cassandra, Lance, and Eugene all sat there, waiting for Rapunzel to walk in and tell them why she called this so called ''urgent'' meeting. All was quiet, Eugene and Lance dared not speaking cause Cass was in one of her angry moods today and no one messes with Cass when she was in her angry mode.

  Rapunzel kicked the door open as her entrance, she was holding a paint stand and a bunch of posters. She set the stand up and put the posters on the stand without making a sound, something was definitely wrong. 

''Okay, Blondie why have you called us here.'' Eugene asked trying to get answers out of his girlfriend.

  She turned around and pointed to the poster, her face barely containing her excitement.

'' 'The Blind Date Prank'? '' Cass read raising an eyebrow. ''Rapz what is this?!''

''This, is my plan.'' she said.

''Plan for what?'' Lance asked.

''My plan to set [Y/n] and Varian up!'' she squealed.

''Wait, you called us here for this!'' Lance said disappointed, rethinking his life choices.

''I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Lance this isn't important at all.'' Cass agreed.

''WeLl It iS tO mE!'' Rapz snapped, " Haven't you seen them when they are around each other! They're Perfect for each other! But they're both too scared to admit their feelings, so that's why you guys are going to help me set them up. Are you in for it? " 

  Cass, Eugene, and Lance looked around at each other uneasily, "No offense Blondie, but we can't just force (y/n) and Varian into a relationship. What if they don't even like each other? We can be doing this for nothing and end up ruining their friendship." Eugene said, he had a good point.

 " I know it won't ruin their friendship because they both will realize how much they like each other in the end and become a thing! " Rapunzel responded, she was so sure of her words.

The three thought about it for a while, if they went with this crazy plan who knew what would happen to Varian and (y/n). "Alright I'm in." Lance said.

 " If Lance is in them I'm in. " Eugene answered.

Everyone looked at Cassandra, expecting an answer from her. She rolled her eyes and let out a groan,

 "Fine, I'm in." 

  Rapunzel let out another happy squeal,

"Okay then, shall we get started?" 

Everyone nodded.

" Good, so here's my plan... "

  Varian was making his way to Corona to buy some materials that weren't available in Old Corona. He was by himself this time though. Normally, you would tag along with him to keep him company on the journey, but your dad had asked you to help him in his store today so you couldn't come. 

  Varian had been a bit disappointed when you declined at the offer. He always loved your walks with him, he thought it was great bonding time between you and him. Also, the fact that he might have had a crush on you for some time now and wanted to spend more time with you whenever he had the chance.

  While Varian was walking he kept on having the feeling that he was being followed, he started to pick up his pace so he could get to town faster. Whoever was following him started to pick up their pace too. Varian started sprinting as fast as he could, the person kept on following, then, all of a sudden it stopped. Varian slowed to a stop and looked around trying to find however had been following him.

  Suddenly, Rapunzel popped out of nowhere in front of Varian, he let out a terrified scream and stepped back, tripping over a tree root.

''Hi Varian!'' she exclaimed with a extra cheery voice.

''Princess! DoN't ScaRE Me LikE tHaT!'' he shouted getting on his feet.

''Sorry Varian, but the look on your face was priceless you have to admit.'' she said helping him up. 

  Varian let out a groan and crossed his arms, ''Why were you following me?''

  Rapz let out a small squeal, ''I came to tell you, you have a secret admirer.''

  Varian raised an eyebrow, ''I have a secret admirer, you have to be joking.'' 

 She shook her head, ''No I am not. And this secret admirer wants me to tell you that she is inviting you to dinner, here's the invitation.'' Rapunzel handed Varian an envelope with his name on it. 

''Who's the secret admirer? Is it [y/n]!?'' he asked hopefully.

  Rapunzel laughed, ''No it's not [y/n], the person told me to tell you her name is Emma.''

  Varian's face fell, he didn't know a girl named Emma, at least he thought he didn't. He thought it kind of creepy to have a secret admirer, he didn't really want to meet this girl. 

If your name is actually Emma then just change the secret admirers name to something else. Sorry about that!

''Um... do I have to show up at this dinner?'' he asked.

''If you don't you'll probably break the girls heart so yeah you do.'' she answered, ''And you gotta wear decent clothes.'' 

  He let out another groan, ''Fine.'' 

  Rapz smiled, ''Well see you around Varian!'' and with that she left with a pep in her step.

''Uh, bye.'' he said. Well that was weird, he said to himself. Secret admirer? What is Rapunzel up to this time?  He decided not to look too deep into this and kept on walking.

  You had been helping your dad run his store all day, it was really boring and you just wanted the day to end. You couldn't believe you turned down spending a day with Varian for this! You loved your dad and all but you hated helping him with the family business. You knew that one day the store would be yours and you were not excited about that.

  You were busy cleaning counters when you heard the door open. You went to greet the costumer but was surprised to find it was...

''Eugene? What are you doing in Old Corona?'' you asked.

''Hey [y/n]! I was just stopping by to tell you something.'' he said.

''You would travel all this way just to tell me something?'' you said raising an eyebrow.

''That's not important, but what is important is I have something that a special someone wanted me to give you.'' he answered handing you an envelope. 

''What do you mean by 'special someone'?'' you said looking down at the note.

''I mean you have a secret admirer.'' he answered smirking, ''And this secret admirer wants to take you out to dinner.''

"Someone likes me? Come on Eugene this has to be some kind of joke." you said.

"This isn't a joke (y N) Someone really does like you and they told me to tell you that their name is Jake. " Eugene said.

"Jake? I don know anyone named Jake." you didn't really know what to say, you've ever had a secret admirer before. Well, at least you thought you didn't.

 "Well, are you going to accept his invitation?" Eugene asked.

  You thought about it for a while, you had never been on a date before. And what about Varian? How would he act of you told him you were going out with someone? He'd probably be happy for you, he always had been a supportive friend. 

" Fine, I'll go. " you answered.

He smirked, the plan was working. "Good, then I'll see you around, bye!" and with that he walked out of the store. 

  Well, that was strange, you thought. You were starting to get excited about the date, you couldn't wait to tell Varian once he got back.

  The day had finally come, and you were excited like heck. You had told Varian the news and had found out that Varian had also been asked out. You had been really happy for him but something seemed off to you. It might have been just by coincidence that you both were asked out on the same day or something else.

  You and Varian both had your suspicions but decided to ignore them. 

  Even though it looked like Varian was okay with you going out with someone, he really wasn't. He was actually a bit jealous someone had beat him in asking you out. That was probably why he accepted his invitation, it was so that he could make you jealous. But so far, his plan had not been working as expected. You had only been happy for him and showed no signs of jealousy.

  Well, today was the day, Jake had said in the note to meet him in Corona Valley at exactly 6:30 p.m. and no later. After spending some time at Varian's for most of the day, you went back to your house to get ready for the evening. While, Varian did the same.

  You wore a beautiful but simple blue dress, putting your hair into a neat bun, letting two strands on either side fall loosely to frame your face. You wore a necklace that your mother gave you for your birthday around your neck. When you looked in your mirror you had to admit, you looked beautiful. You walked out of your house and made your way to the location. 

  Varian had never really dressed up before for a special occasion. This was something totally different than what he was used to. He wore a black suit and with a tie, and had a black pair of pants on. Those were probably the nicest clothes he had, Varian didn't do much to his hair, he only took off his goggles and combed it only a little bit, but nothing could tame it. Then, Varian was ready, and not a moment too soon, he made his way to Corona Valley the place where Emma had told him to meet up at exactly 6:30 p.m. On the way he stopped by at the flower store to pick up a bouquet of flowers. He was a bit nervous he had to admit, he had never been on a date before and he had always imagined it to be with [Y/N] if he ever did. 

  So, you and Varian were both walking toward the same place without realizing it, little did you both know that this was all a part of Rapunzel's plan to set you guys up. And you both were falling hard for it.

  You arrived at your destination and found a table for two, lit with candles, it was a romantic sight. You saw Varian- much to your surprise- walking toward you, holding a bouquet of flowers.

''What are you doing here?'' you asked with a great suspicion.

''I'm waiting for my date, why are you here?'' he asked with the same suspicion.

''I'm waiting for my date too, '' you said, you both stared at each other in disbelief. ''What is going on here?'' 

''I don't know but something strange is going on here, though.'' he responded.

  Just then Rapunzel started walking toward you and Varian smiling mischievously, something was defiantly wrong.

''Hi guys! I'm so glad you made it! But I got terrible news for the both of you.'' she seemed extra peachy then normal. 

''It better be about our dates.'' you said crossing your arms.

''Yeah, actually it is! They both told me to tell the two of you that they couldn't come cause of some big family crisis that came up for the both of them.''

''They both had a family crisis on the same day, well that doesn't seem suspicious at all.'' Varian said sarcastically.

''I know right?!'' Rapz answered ignoring the sarcasm. ''What a bummer right? But I since I'd hate to let all the food go to waste how about the two of you have dinner together instead!''

 You and Varian both gave Rapz a suspicious look, this all seemed too fake. 

''Um... sure, you okay with that Varian?'' you said turning to Varian.

''Um, yeah sure, why not?'' he responded his voice cracking slightly from the excitement his was trying to hide. In his mind fireworks went off, spending dinner with you was a dream come true for him. So he saw this as a win-win. 

''Yay!!! Well I'll bring out the food you two have fun now!'' Rapunzel squealed running off to tell Eugene, Cass, and Lance the news that the plan was working.

  That left you alone with Varian, awkwardness filled the air around the two of you.

''So... nice dress.'' Varian said trying to start conversation.

''Uh, thanks. Nice suit.'' you responded.

''Thanks.'' he answered, he scratched the back of his head and looked down at the flowers he was holding. ''Uh, these were for my date but since she's not coming...'' he handed you the flowers, ''here.'' He started blushing. 

Awkward level is like 100% right now. I'm cringing like crazy!😅

''Oh, are these like friendship flowers or...'' you started.

''I don't know it's up to you.'' he said quietly, secretly hoping you'd say something along the lines of 'I like you' or something like that.

''Okay, so friendship flowers it is. We're just friends, right? This dinner doesn't mean anything as far as couples go?'' you asked.

  Those words hit Varian like a bullet, 'just friends' she said, JUST FRIENDS. He was trapped in the friend zone, no hope of escaping he would probably forever be only [y/n]'s friend and nothing more. That was a painful reality he did not want to face. ''Yeah, just as friends.'' he repeated. 

  You noticed Varian's sudden change of mood, you smiled at him hoping that would help him. He just gave you a small smile back and the both of you sat down.

  Little did the two of you know that hiding behind a fairly large bush hid Rapz, Cass, Eugene, and Lance all watching the two of you talk. 

''Okay, Cass go and give the two their food in three... two... one, go.'' Rapz instructed. 

''Okay, but I still don't see why you tied the pasta together, it makes no sense.'' Cass said.

''The two are supposed to share the pasta, then meet in the middle for a kiss.'' Rapz said fangirling.

  Cass let out a small groan and got up to give Varian and [Y/N] their food.

  The two were in the middle of a conversation discussing the difference between thunder and lightning. [cause you both like to talk about random topics]  

''So let me get this straight, lightning is normally first followed by thunder or is it the other way around?'' you asked.

''You had it right the first time, you see, lightning is the flash that you see...'' Varian saw Cass coming toward them and gave her a little wave, ''Hey Cass-not-Cassie!''

''Hey Varian and [y/n], and don't call me that.'' she said handing the two the meal, then she left she would rather watch this from a safe distance, just in case things got heated.

  The two started eating, while talking and laughing with each other they just acted like friends and nothing more.

''Why isn't the pasta thing working!?'' Rapz said looking at the couple through her eye glass, ''Oh no! The pasta got untied!!! This is a disaster! Eugene, Lance, distract the two while I try to tie the pasta back together again.''

  Eugene and Lance nodded they knew what they had to do, the two emerged from the bush and started harmonizing to warm up their voices.

''Dooooeeee'' Lance started in a low singing voice.

''Dooooeeee'' Eugene harmonized in a slightly higher voice.

The next sequence of events I used goggle translate for since I don't know Latin and Eugene and Lance will be singing in Latin. Sorry if I get anything wrong blame it on google translate.

The two started singing a love song as a distraction this is what they sang,

Audivi et amore prosecutus noctis silentio. Amor enim me tibi perpetuo tempore simul reliquis.'' 🎵🎶

  You and Varian stopped talking and eating to listen to the sweet melody. Even though you couldn't understand the words you loved the tune, you watched the two sing and found yourself staring off into the distance. The song had a very romantic theme to it, it made you seem like you were in a love story.

🎶🎵''Amor enim fines habet cum auferetur te clamavi, sed etiam innititur atque iterum reversus sum mei invenient mihi in pace. Et factum est in te.

Deprecor te, ne unquam aberrare a me: Non possum vivere nec sine te, maneat in vobis in armis esse non potest salvum me ad vos.''🎶🎵

  Varian only had eyes on you, the music acted like a background highlighting everything beautiful about you. He loved anything and everything about you, from your eyes, your hair, your smile, everything. You were perfect in his eyes. He rested his head on his hand lost in a daze looking at you, but you were too focused on the music to notice.

🎶🎵''Cur non vides quia te amo, te requiro, ut vos volo. Placere mea in sempiternum erit, deliciae meae quoniam te amo, te amo.

Placere dic mihi eam, amabo te. Mihi placet saecula donec mors nos a malo.''🎵🎶

  While you and Varian were distracted Rapunzel crept quietly over to the table to tie the pasta again. She was successful and gave Eugene and Lance a thumbs up signaling that she was done.  They sang one more verse before ending.

🎶🎵''Vale! Vale! Non fuit fun! Ad cantare canticum istud quod modo diligere?

Vale! Vale! Donec iterum conveniant dilectione, luceat nobis usque in sempiternum!'' 🎵🎶

  Eugene and Lance bowed and ran back to the bush. You clapped when the song ended, Varian still was lost in thought staring at you. And this time you finally noticed it,

''Uh... Varian why are you looking at me like that?'' you asked.

  Varian snapped out of his thoughts, reentering reality. He was so surprised that he knocked over your glass and it spilled all over you.

''Oh my gosh, I am soooo sorry!'' he apologized grabbing his napkin and rushing to your side. He tripped over a chair leg and fell to the hard ground. ''Ouch!'' 

''Varian! Are you okay?'' you said and got up to help him, but you too tripped over a chair leg and fell. Varian tried to get up and put his hand on the table for support but the table wasn't very strong and gave out flipping over. He fell on top of you.

''We should probably go help them.'' Rapz said getting up from their hiding spot. Cassandra pulled her down. 

''Wait Rapz. Let's see how this turns out.'' she said grabbing the bowl of popcorn. ''This could get interesting.'' 

 Varian's face was inches away from yours, you felt your face turn a bright red, blushing.

''Uh... well this is awkward.'' you said. 

''Yeah, awkward...'' Varian was a blushing mess, he was on top of his crush! A voice in his head told him 'KISS HER! NOW IS YOUR ONLY CHANCE!' Should he kiss her or should he not? He had to make a decision, just do it, Varian! I know you can do it! Varian made his choice.

  Varian leaned down and smashed his lips with yours, you were beyond surprised. 

''Woah.'' everyone hiding in the bush said as quietly as possible, reaching for more popcorn.

  For a second you felt yourself blacking out, this was crazy! You snapped back into reality and shoved Varian off of you finally realizing what was going on. You started to get angry.

''VARIAN WHAT WAS THAT FOR!'' you yelled.

''I...'' he couldn't even finish his sentence he felt so embarrassed. Varian got to his feet and ran into the forest.

''VARIAN DON'T YOU DARE RUN AWAY FROM THIS!'' you screamed after him, ''I swear I'm going to kill him!'' you picked up a table knife off the ground and ran after him.  

  Rapz, Eugene, Cass, and Lance all looked at each other with the kind of look that said, 'well that just happened.' 

''Should we follow those two to make sure [y/n] doesn't kill Varian?'' Lance asked his voice uneasy.

''Yeah, we probably should.'' Eugene agreed. The four got up from their hiding spot and sprinted into the forest following you and Varian. 

''VARIAN STOP RUNNING AND FACE ME RIGHT NOW!'' you yelled running after Varian who was running for his life. 

''I'd rather not be killed today!'' he yelled back.

''Who said I want kill you? I only want to stab you in multiple places so you can suffer a painful death.'' you quickly thought about what you had just said, ''Okay so maybe I do want to kill you. But I have every reason to!'' 

''I really don't think me kissing you is a good reason for me to die!'' he called.

''It sounds like a perfectly good reason to me!'' you called back.

  Varian couldn't keep running forever he knew he would have to stop eventually. Then, he remembered something. He turned around to face you and reached into his pocket pulling out a small purple ball. He threw it at your feet and a purple fog filled the air you tried to run toward him but something had your feet glued to the ground. You lost your balance and fell to the ground. 

''Varian! Why you no good, dirty mind loving, womanizer, advantage taker...'' you yelled trying to stand. Varian put his hand over your mouth silencing you.

''Woah, slow down let's keep things clean.'' he said. He let his hand off your mouth.

''Release me NOW!'' you demanded.

''Not until you promise me that you won't kill me.'' he responded.

  You thought about it for a while, ''Fine, I won't kill you.''

  He smiled, ''Good.'' and reached into his pocket and pulled out the chemical compound to release you.

''But you have some serious explaining to do.'' you said once he freed you.

  Varian helped you to your feet and let out a sigh, ''Fine.'' he looked down to the ground. ''[Y/N], I love you. I've actually loved you for a while now, your the prettiest girl I've ever met and you have always been so nice to me. No one else really sees me how you see me, they treat me like some freak who is too dangerous to hang around. But you are different, you hang out with me a lot and you don't care if I'm dangerous. You have always been such a good friend and I really like you. If you don't like me back it's fine, I get it I'm just a friend to you and nothing more.''

  You were taken aback by Varian's response, he just told you he loved you. You had no idea how to respond to this. ''Wow, Varian, why didn't you tell me this sooner?'' 

''Cause I was afraid you didn't like me back so I hid my feelings about you.'' he blurted.

''Well Varian, I don't like you,'' you started, ''I love you.''

  Varian looked up at you, his big baby blue eyes sparkling with happiness, ''Really?!'' 

''Yeah, of course I love you. But I'm disappointed in you Var.'' you said.

''Why?''

''Cause you didn't give me enough time to kiss you back.'' as soon as you said that you grabbed his shirt and pulled him in smashing your lips against his. He melted into it right away wrapping his arms around you. The two of you would have never let go.

The two heard a bush rustle behind them but paid no attention to it, ''Okay [Y/N] I know you're angry at Varian, but please don't kill him!'' said Eugene entering where the two were at with the others. They stopped when they found what was happening between the two teens. 

  Rapz let out a fangirl scream, ''OH MY GOSH YOU TWO ARE SOOOOO CUTE TOGETHER!'' 

 You and Varian froze and separated immediately from each other.

''You saw nothing.'' you and Varian said in unison. 

''I'm pretty sure that wasn't nothing.'' Lance said.

''Guys do you know what this means!'' Rapz said turning to Cass, Lance, and Eugene, ''My plan worked!!!!!!''

I said I wouldn't be doing another long one and yet here we are. This one was over 4100 words!!!!! I can officially promise you that this will be the longest one of them all. I hope you all liked it! I honestly don't know how I feel about this oneshot. The next one I'm writing I promise you will be way shorter than this. Sorry for it being so long!
