It's been years since the end of the whole 'war of the dimensions' as some like to call it. Many still don't trust those on the side of the Fusion. Heck, as long as you lived in the Fusion Dimension, you were considered a bad person. Not all of them were bad though, especially one, Cheyenne Liaku. The same couldn't be said about her cousin, Sora, but nobody cares about him right now.
"I can't believe someone would ever say anything like this!" A piece of paper stood in the hands of said girl, while two girls from Xyz stood in front of her, fussing about the paper.
"I don't think it's a big deal" Cheyenne stated. People give Fusions hate notes all the time.
"It's definitely a big deal if someone says this! When I get my hands on them-"
"Mai, calm down! You and Ruri are making this more of a deal than it should be" of course they weren't going to listen and just fussed more about the issue.
"What's up with them?" Asked a voice. Cheyenne simply put the paper in his face.
"Hit me in the back of the head. Those two have been at it all day"
"Wanna ditch them"
"Sure" the two walked off, leaving behind the other two.
As the two walked, Yuto spotted a little diner that had probably just been rebuilt. Yuto dragged Cheyenne to the diner and she surprisingly let him.

"Ha, don't forget the time when you told me, ' the moon pretty isn't eyes as'! I didn't know if I should take it as a compliment or not"
"That was embarrassing. You're the first girl I've held a conversation with besides Mai and Ruri" the two sat there in silence. People who passed would look at them strangely and sometimes the occasional ' XYZ and Fusion sitting together? That's a sight you don't see everyday'.
"We should head out, it's getting late" Yuto suggested.
They walked in silence the rest of the way back. People made comments here and there about them walking together making Cheyenne awkward about walking with Yuto.
"I can walk the rest of the way by myself" she said, stopping. Yuto turned to look at her. She looked down until she felt arms pick her up.
"Hold on tight"
"Yuto! Put me down!" Cheyenne shouted. Yuto laughed as he started running with the shouting girl in his hands. The duo gained strange looks as they passed.
"People are staring at us"
"Let them" Cheyenne blushed at that.
"You idiot"
"I love you too" Cheyenne just rolled her eyes as he kissed her forehead.
