He started crying like a baby might when that baby lost something it wanted. He hugged Maya's lifeless form, until he noticed a red dot on some bandages close to the middle of her chest. He got up, and demanded, "What happened to them?" Still shaking from what happened. The doctor replied by saying that it was a robbery where they got killed.
