I Samuel 3:14 and 18-19

"'And therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever.'"

"Then Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. And he said, 'It is the Lord. Let Him do what seems good to Him.'"

"So Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to he ground."

(The Lord just pronounced judgment upon Eli's household for the sins of his sons, and Eli accepted it as God's will. We should be like that too! Even if God sees it fit to condemn everyone we know and love to death or terrible circumstances, we should accept it as God's will.)
