Another Meruem battle. Oh boy. Sorry if you think there's too much Meruem. Anyways let's begin. This will also contain spoilers for the One Punch Man manga and webcomic so be warned.

Unlike the last two, this one won't really be much of a stomp for the most part. Garou mainly has 3 forms. His full human base form, his half-monster form with the red hair and bloodshot eyes, and his awakened form. Now for Garou, while his base form is pretty strong, I don't think it's enough to actually beat Meruem. Meruem was hit thousands of times by Netero's Bodhisattva and didn't even get a scratch on him. Even when Netero used Zero Hand, Meruem took damage, but it was very minimal. Garou on the other hand fought Tank Top Master and pretty much destroyed him along side the Tank Toppers and Mumen Rider. He would shortly fight Golden Ball and Spring Mustachio too but handled them with no difficulty at all. He would then fight Metal Bat, who was pretty injured after dealing with 2 tiger level threats, 2 demon level threats, and 1 dragon level threat. Despite all this, Metal Bat was still able to fight Garou  despite his injuries due to his fighting spirit. Garou dodged all of his attacks and even took him down, but he states that a single hit from Metal Bat would not have ended well for him. He even almost gets surprised attacked by Metal Bat if not for Bat's sister interfering.

After getting mollywhopped by Watchdog Man and getting kicked into a wall by Saitama, Garou is heavily injured and returns to his hideout, where he is then surrounded by 8 heroes, which include Stinger and Death Gatling. Despite his injuries, Garou fights all 8 of them and beats them. During this fight, Garou is struck by 2 poison arrows but it doesn't seem to affect him immediately. After defeating all 8 heroes, he then fights Genos, Bang, and Bomb. Bang and Bomb are easily able to beat the shit out of Garou but their fight is interrupted with the arrival of Elder Centipede.

In terms of physical strength and speed I'd say Meruem surpasses base form Garou. Despite everything Garou goes through before becoming a half-monster, I don't think it's enough for him to be able to beat Pre-rose Meruem. Half-monster Garou on the other hand is another story. After being nearly killed by Royal Ripper and Bug God, Garou basically goes through a zenkai boost and becomes much more stronger. He breaks into the Monster Association to save Tareo and just one shots Royal Ripper. He then goes on to tank a blast from Overgrown Rover, resist Gyoro Gyoro's esper powers, and then fights Monster King Orochi which, he doesn't win, but the fight shows just how insanely strong Garou's gotten. After getting knocked out and chained up however, he is discovered by Puri Puri Prisoner. Garou fights Puri Puri Prisoner and fucks him up while still in an unconscious state, fighting in a feral state. Super Superalloy Darkshine steps in to fight Garou (no I'm not calling him Blackluster that's a lame name) and actually punches Garou so hard that Garou regains consciousness. Garou once again goes through another zenkai boost and slowly overpowers Darkshine (as of the most recent chapter in the manga). Though it can be argued that because of the insecurities Darkshine has from losing to an extremely strong opponent that he lost the fight, also because he didn't suffer any serious injuries aside from maybe coughing some blood, but still, Garou evolved exponentially in that fight.

With all this, I think Half-monster Garou would win the fight against Pre-rose Meruem. In fact I'd say he'd win almost by a landslide. Post-rose Meruem would likely have a better chance, as I believe he did get a boost in strength after consuming the aura of Pouf and Youpi and gained there abilities. However Post-rose Meruem doesn't have any feats once again except for using a rage blast to destroy a mountain and...that's it. Not a bad feat but considering Garou tanked a blast from Overgrown Rover and outran many of Orochi's energy beams, a mountain busting blast from Meruem probably isn't gonna kill Garou (I should mention this is Meruem without being poisoned. I don't think it weakens at least not by a lot but it will slowly kill him). I should also mention that shortly before becoming a full monster, Garou fought Golden Sperm for a very short time and pretty much obliterated him. Golden Sperm was able to easily defeat an injured Tatsumaki (It has been stated by ONE that if Tatsumaki was in her best shape, she could have beaten Golden Sperm) and Amai Mask even commented that it would still be difficult to take him down if all the S Class heroes fought Golden Sperm.

Now onto full monster Awakened Garou. I think I can say that post-rose Meruem would lose pretty badly against this Garou. Garou was able to pretty much manhandle all of the S Class heroes that were present in that fight. Essentially all of the heroes got absolutely rekt by Garou. Of course he would then fight Saitama and survived several of his punches. It took Saitama more attacks then the amount he did on Boros to actually defeat Garou, though you could say that Saitama wasn't taking the fight as seriously as the fight against Boros.

Either way, Awakened Garou would beat Post-rose Meruem with little difficulty. Meruem is by no means weak, in fact it's safe to say he's the strongest character in Hunter x Hunter, but even with his insane speed, extraordinary intelligence, and incredible strength, I don't think he'd be able to win against Garou. So for this fight, Garou is the winner.

Thx for reading this chapter you guys. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. There will be more in the future so hope you're excited for that.

Death out
