Izuku stares at the beach. Disgusting and littered with garbage everywhere. Izuku needed to train. Unfortunately, there aren't many places to train in fighting. So he'll just have to train himself. His first step is cleaning the Dagobah Beah Center. He'll also have to use some of the scrap to make weapons of his own to balance out the quirklessness.

Everyday for the past few months, he's been putting himself through hell to clean the beach. His muscles kept burning, pushing and hauling the trash around. But the thought of Bakugou's assault that day and what he saw kept making him go. He had nothing left to lose other than his mother. So he had to keep going. To keep pushing himself so he can prove that no matter what, he can be a hero.

Unbeknownst to him, one day while he was training, Ochako was watching him while going out with her parents. She wanted to talk to him, but they were returning home from shopping and couldn't get caught up with him right now.

But it was even doubtful he would've talked to her in the first place.

The next day in class, she tried talking to him. "Hey. Midoriya right?" She asks. He just sits at his desk in silence. She's confused as to why he didn't respond. "Hey, I-"

"Alright class. Take your seats. I have some announcements." The teacher tells his students. She takes her seat disappointed she wouldn't be able to talk to him. "Now. Starting today, your assignments are going to get harder. Your assignments will be independent, so don't try asking your friends for help. For those that want to go to UA, you should expect this kind of work from the best hero school in Japan." He announces.

The class, minus Bakugou, Izuku, and Ochako, groaned at this. "Yeah, yeah. But remember, this is for your future. If you want to complain, then do it to your pillow. Now, open your books to chapter 10." The teacher says starting the assignment. Ochako tried paying attention, but Izuku just kept drawing her attention.

After the lecture from the teacher, he dismisses class. Ochako takes this chance to try talking to Izuku, but he's already gone. She wishes she could take to him more, but she needs to focus on her studies.

Izuku went to avoid seeing Bakugou or Ochako. "Hey Deku!" He hears a voice roar. He doesn't even need to turn around to know who it is. He just keeps walking. "Hey Deku! Don't you dare ignore me!!" He screams louder and starts to quickly make his way towards him. "He continues ignoring him and keeps walking away. Bakugou grabs his shoulder and sends an explosion at his face, causing him to be thrown across the hall. Bakugou goes to pick him up, but then he hears a voice. "What happened?!" He turned to see that it was Ochako.

He decides to keep his cover and goes to pick up Midoriya. "He tripped over and fell. Knocked over a trash can. I went to help him up." He says, helping Izuku up and to keep his cover. He puts on a fake friendly smile as he dusts the greenette off. "Isn't that write, Midoriya." Just saying his name made him want to throw up. The mere mentioning of his name is like a siren blasting in his ears.

Izuku didn't care enough right now to say anything, so just went along with it. "Yeah. I fell." He said, shrugging his hand off and left. He didn't care about Bakugou. He didn't care about that anymore. What he cared about was training, getting stronger, and to be a hero of his own accords.

He made his way back to the beach and saw an old scrawny man there. He had blonde hair and looked like he was just skin and bones. "Um. Sir? What are you doing here?" Izuku asked the stranger. He turns around and smiles. "Oh. Hi there. I came here to try cleaning the beach, but it looks like someone is already starting on that." He says looking around.

"Yeah. That was me." Izuku said walking past him dropping his bag. This surprised the blonde. "That was you?!" He says in shock. "Yeah. What about it?" He says in a defensive tone. "No. None at all. You did amazing work. How long have you been working on this?" He asks. "6 months." He answers making him even more surprised. "6 months?! All by yourself!" He says shocked. "What? You think a quirkless kid can't do this all by himself." He says defending himself.

"That's not what I meant at all. I was just shocked you cleaned this much up by yourself in 6 months. And quirkless no less. That's very impressive." He compliments him. "Whatever." He shrugs off the compliment and goes back to work. "So why are you doing this." The man asks Izuku. "Personal business." He answers not even looking at him. "Sorry!" He quickly apologizes.

"Yeah." He carries the garbage to the entrance of the beach. "I have to head out. I'll come by every now and then to check on your progress. My name is Toshinori Yagi. What's yours?" He asks. "None of your concern." He just moves past him. Toshinori notices something in the boys' eyes this time. Something dark. Something.......dead. Like everything important to him is gone. "Well until next time, see ya." He waves goodbye.

"What a weird guy." He comments going back to work. 'Why was he so concerned about me cleaning this beach?' He thinks to himself. 'Doesn't matter. The sooner I clean this beach, the sooner I can start with becoming my own hero.' He says stacking more boxes to carry.
