Dr. Roland ran down the hall to where Martin's office was, she opened the door quickly- letting it slam into the wall.
"Stacey, hi. Back so soon?" He seemed completely at ease, smiling and leaning back in his swivel-chair
"Martin you sick son of a bitch!" She marched over and punched him square in the jaw, "It's your duty to make sure no one gets out whether it be your patient or not. You let him escape and didn't even inform me about it! For all we know he could be dressed as a guard and about to leave this building as we speak! Do you know where we get most of our funding from? His father! If he finds out that were incapable of taking care of his son and keeping him out of the way of his soon-to-be-king brother, then guess who looses their jobs and guess where all these villain go! Back on the streets! Terrorizing your friends and family. You have a wife, don't you Martin? Lovely little thing who you cheat on every chance you get." She paced around the room, "How would you like it if one of your kids or your wife was killed by these guys? Hmmm?"
"Can I speak now, Stacey?"
"You have a voice and a goddam mouth you might as well attempt to defend yourself."
"Loki was gone and there was nothing we could do about it, it was best you didn't know because we all know you're awful at lying."
"I am talking to your superior Martin and you are getting fired for a break in protocol."
"You can't do that! You wouldn't!"
"Would I? Try me." She headed for the door
"Okay okay fine, I'll tell you."
"Tell me what?"
"I was blackmailed, if I didn't let Loki free then they'd kill my family."
"Now you see why I live on campus?"
"I was home with my wife and kids eating dinner when we got a phone call, it was a strange man who threatened me that if I didn't let him go then stage one of everything would happen. I asked them what they meant and the next thing I knew a small red dot was on my unsuspecting wife's chest. Then the warning was clear. You can't tell anyone about this, if they knew that I told you, then-" The glass behind him shattered and a large robotic bird grabbed Martin in his talons ripping him from his swivel-chair. Martin screamed in agony and Dr. Roland ran to the window to see the bird gaining altitude before it let Martin out of its grasp. He flew towards the ground and hit the concrete with a deafening smack.
Dr. Roland had just witness a murder. And she had heard too much.

The bird now turned on her, attempting to fit it's large body into the room to either grab her with its beak or talons. With an 'oh shit!' she started to run down the hallway, the bird had broken through the wall and was chasing her throughout the building. When it realized it was too big for the hallways, it headed back the way it came and attempted to lure her out. She made sure to stay in the parts of the building where the bird couldn't reach. But she forgot one thing- the large cafeteria was in this building and she was running right towards it. Several guards tried to stop her from running but she flicked them off and kept going.

Entering the cafeteria, she realized her mistake. The ceiling gave way and the bird hovered over the room, looking around for her amongst the scrambling inmates. The guards took their positions and loaded their weapons. Their aim took hold and several rounds of bullets were fired. Dr. Roland watched in amazement, that is until the bird noticed her and swooped down for the kill. She dove into the small door that transported the trays into the cleaning area of the kitchen. Dr. Roland barely made it through the door and the bird was getting angry. The guards had now taken out the large missiles and started shooting it with them. Finally the bird flew away.

Dr. Roland was helped up by one of the guards she flicked off, she sheepishly apologized and headed to her office. Thank god it was windowless. This needed some major research on this one. Her life could depend on it.
