Hello, hello!

This book is my love child. I began writing it in September 2020, and finished the first draft on June 24th, 2022. This was one of those "I'm writing this for myself because the characters won't leave me the hell alone" books that I never expected to go anywhere—and now? Book one is available NOW on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, with a sequel being written, the third book in early development, and a series of prequel novellas I write for fun in my spare time (coming soon).

On top of being published, "Vision" is currently in production as a visual novel game from GSE Studios!! I still can't believe that's a sentence I can say. This book is being turned into a video game. The trailer will be lined below this author note, and you'll notice a chapter dedicated to the game at the end of the book!

Wait... if Vision is published, is this just a sample?

It was, yes. For the first (almost) year of its publication, I removed all but a small sample on Wattpad, as it was enrolled in Kindle Unlimited at the time and I could not post more than 10% of the novel elsewhere due to their exclusivity clause. After I pulled my book from KU, I expanded my sample chapters to include the first act of the book.

Now, in honor of the book's one-year publishing anniversary, I've decided to bring it back in whole on Wattpad. You can still purchase the paperback, hardcover, and the official ebook on Amazon and Barnes & Noble to support me, but will also be fully available here. I am posting multiple chapters a day until the book's anniversary on August 15th (to hopefully spare anyone with it currently in their library from an onslaught of 50+ notifications).

Not only will this give you a taste of the series when Risen is published (the first draft is on Wattpad currently, but when it goes to publication, it will only be availably by purchase), but it will allow new readers to prepare for the upcoming Keepers of Astraela visual novel game! With a new audience being introduced to the series, I wanted them to have a place to easily read the original source material as a game companion!
