*Biz's pov...*

I woke up this morning and everything was dark, darker than usual. I looked around once and remembered where we were: a "mousehole" in the side of the ship.

Chiz was sleeping next to me, so I decided to wake her up by pushing her over a little.

"I can sleep in mom! It's not a school day!" Chiz muttered in her sleep.

I shook her a little more violently.

"Ah!" Chiz yelped. She looked at me for a second before adding, "I didn't say anything ridiculous in my sleep, did I?"

"You have no idea." I laughed. I laughed even more when Chiz's face slowly turned red.

After a little laughter, I immediately focused once more on the task at hand. I shouldn't get distracted so easily.

"If my calculations from last night were correct, we should be about 1/4 of the way there. If we are going to get there quicker, I suggest traveling at night." I said, staring out into the hallway with it's walls towering high above us.

Chiz could sense my sudden seriousness as she walked up to my side.

"Do you think we'll make it to the lab?" Chiz asked quietly.

*Sigh* "I sure hope so." I replied.

"We will move out later tonight." I added before walking back over to the wall and leaning against it. I closed my eyes and stared down at the floor in thought.

Will we really make it? I mean, sure, it's only been one day, but how much longer will it take?
