*Ninja's pov...*

Biz was yelling at Chiz for trying to steal my 'tama. Chiz didn't reply to any of her questions, either.

"....please, Captain! I didn't do anything wrong! I haven't seen the crystal at all!" Chiz pleaded for the 20th time.

"Then what were you doing with Ninja's 'tama before!? You said you stole it from the Author's realm!" Biz shouted, "Now, hand over the 'tama! That's an order!"

"I swear I don't have it!" Chiz pleaded.

I was sitting in a chair on the opposite side of the room with my back to them. I was getting fed up with the arguments and my stress was getting higher and higher each moment my 'tama was missing. Without even knowing it, I had thrown 2 ninja stars at Chiz blindly, pinning her to the wall by her sleeves. I got up from my chair, still having my back turned to them. My hands balled into fists as I stormed over to them.

"I've had just about enough of this!" I shouted, "Without that 'tama, your world will be destroyed!". I summoned one of my katanas and added, "If you don't hand over that 'tama right now, I swear you will become a head shorter."

The look in Chiz's eyes showed fear-not the usual fear, but pure, naked fear. I, being so overcome with rage, didn't see it at first. She tried to move, but to no avail. She was stuck in place with a katana staring her in the face.

"Chiz didn't do it!" Valentina burst out.

My head whipped around to face her. "WHAT!?"

"She didn't do it." Valentina said in a calmer tone this time.

"It-It's true. I-I saw a figure with a p-pink crystal in their hand. I-I tried to stop them, b-but they kn-knocked me out. I w-woke up in a closet. When I found you, y-you were shouting at me f-for no reason." Chiz stuttered, obviously scared to speak.

I looked at Biz, who returned my gaze, as if saying Should we trust her? With a sigh, I made my katana vanish and grabbed my ninja stars from the wall. Chiz fell to the floor. An eerie silence filled the room.

"I'm sorry, Chiz. I should've known you wouldn't do something like that." Biz said, breaking the silence.

"I understand, Captain. The person you were shouting at kinda looked like me, didn't they?" Chiz muttered, trying to remain calm.

I had to think for a moment. How could Chiz be in two places at once? Then it hit me......

"Shape shifters! I should've known!" I said, smacking a fist into my open palm.

"Shape shifters?" Biz and Chiz asked at the same time.
