A/N: Not a ship

I might add some of my own headcanons in this, like how I think IA can fly.

Gumi rushed to the attic, excitement can be sensed from her.

"I can't believe I only remembered that thing today!"

She went through several boxes and stopped when she found the oldest one there. She carefully opened it and looked inside. There, she found something she and Yohioloid made many years ago.

It was the very first drawing they made when they were 7. Gumi and Yohio have been friends since they were little and this Valentines Day, she wanted to surprise him with this picture, but enhanced.

She went downstairs and gathered up some art materials. She got to work making a picture frame out of popsicle sticks, which she then painted and put stickers on.

Maika was passing by carrying a lush  bouquet of flowers. Gumi spotted her and asked. "Hey, Maika, what's the flowers for?"

"Oh, these? They're for Yohioloid, I wanted to give him a gift for Valentines"

Megpoid looked at the flowers. "They're beautiful" she thought. She looked back at her handmade project, feeling a little pity for herself.

"What are you making?"  The Spanish girl asked.

"It's a picture frame. I-I was supposed to give a gift to him too, but it doesn't look as pretty as yours"

"Don't say that, Yohio would love anything you give him. It's the thought that counts"

"Still...it's nothing special.."

Maika put a flower in the other girl's hair. "He'll like it, trust me" She gave her a smile before walking off.

Gumi continued with her project, still a bit overwhelmed.

Her phone vibrated. She wiped some glitter off her hands and picked it up. She received a message from her best friend.

"The others invited me to go to the playground, want to come with?"

She responded with "Sure, I'll be there in a few minutes"

"Great! See ya soon, Gummy! :)"

She tidied up the table and put the drawing in the frame before wrapping it. She changed her paint stained clothes before going out.

At the playground, Yohio was sitting on top of the monkey bars with Kaito. Maika was sitting properly on the swing, and IA was floating around.

Yohioloid jumped down when she saw his friend. "Gummy! So glad you could make it! The others invited me here to apparently give me some gifts, and Maika told me you had a surprise for me as well?"

Maika gave Gumi a thumbs up and gestured to go on with it. She hesitated with it, but eventually managed to give him the gift.

He opened it, curious on what it may contain.

"I know it's not much and I can understand if you don't like it-" Megpoid was stopped talking when she saw that Yohio was crying.

"Oh god, I didn't know it was that terrible, I am so sorry-" she was cut off again when she felt his arms wrapped around her.

"G-Gumi, I didn't know you held to this" He said, still hugging her

"Of course I held on to it, I keep everything we make because I think it's special"

He hugged her even tighter "This brings so much memories, I love it! Thanks, Gummy! You're the bestest friend I could ever ask for!"

"You're okay even though it's the frame is just popsicle sticks?"

"This is sticks? I thought it was those actual woods they use for frames. But then again, I do have a clue on what's it's made from"

"What do you mean?"

He pulled back and took out a popsicle stick from her hair while laughing a bit.

"Alright, enough with the mushiness" IA lifted up Gumi "I need a bff like this"

Yohio pouted "Hey, Gummy is my bff!"

IA floated away with her while Yohio chased her. Gumi couldn't do anything else but laugh.
