Ever felt the need to smile, but the lips don't curve up

Ever felt the need to scream, but the voice just ditches

Ever felt the need to be silent, but words just don't stop

Ever felt the need of warmth, but the cold chills are sending shivers

Ever felt the need of iciness ,but the burning flames just don't subside

Ever felt the need to just let it go till it's all numb.

Yes, I felt the dryness of my eyes as the sun rose spreading the light

Yes, I felt the stillness of my lips as voidness of darkness engulfed everything

Yes, I felt the voicelessness in my voice as my own angels laughed at my expenses

Yes, I felt the noise of my thoughts as the demons ruled my own mind merciless

Yes, I felt the chills all over as the scars of past were touched now and again

Yes, I felt the heat burning me as the fortress of ashes defining me started to crumble again

Yes, I felt the need as the pain increased only to realize numbness is worst of all indeed.
