So, as you all have probably noticed I've begun to change my opinion on just how powerful Goku is, before I was near certain he could destroy multiple universes and now a days I put him at around galaxy - multi galaxy with universe level being an extreme high ball, while no one has really asked me why I have done this I think it's important to address now so people can understand for future posts that I make.

But instead of just explaining why Goku isn't universe level I decided to go through Goku's feats and find a reasonable spot to put him at, this won't be going over non canon feats (that includes the buuhan feat I don't care if it was in Kai until Akira says otherwise its non canon) as those ones are normally the most inconsistent of them all, first I'll go over power then speed, simple as that.

Anyways let's begin starting with dbz since that's where many of the big feats come in.

Piccolo destroys the moon

Now if you read my post on why Raditz is not planet level you'd know why I disagree with this, this feat is basically the same as master roshi's a feat that is completely inconsistent that was just used for the plot, this is called PIS (plot induced stupidity)

Vegeta going to destroy earth

This feat I definitely think is credible, it is pretty consistent with the rule that it takes a power level of 10 thousand to the destroy a planet that's in the guides and on top of that this feat is backed up in the guides, also its consistent with what we see after this in the frieza saga since Frieza is easily able to destroy planets in his first form without even trying.

Frieza destroys planet vegeta

While I do feel this feat is consistent the Calc for it being dwarf star level isn't, we don't know the mass of the planet or its radius, two things needed for the equation on how much energy it takes to destroy a planet, though I do accept this as a large planet level feat, frieza even says that earth is a pretty small planet so planets like Namek and planet Vegeta should be bigger.

Goku's spirit bomb on frieza

Now I want to make this clear JUST BECAUSE GOKU TOOK POWER FROM STARS DOESN'T MAKE THIS STAR LEVEL.
I've even seen people wank this to solar system level as well, while yes it's very likely goku took power from stars he didn't drain any stars of their power, meaning this doesn't have the full power of a star, the most I'd wank this to is dwarf star level.

Frieza stated able to destroy stars

Nothing really supports this.
Statements < feats.

Cell solar system level

This feat is backed up multiple times in guides and so on, and it feats pretty well into scaling since buu is believed to be capable of destroying galaxies after a short-long period of time.

Buu universe level

Feats point to buu being solar system + to low multi solar system level, saying he's universe level is pretty idiotic and is never really backed up in anyways.

Beerus and Goku clash

This feat is credible but not as a universe level feat and here's why.

The waves were getting more powerful as they spread out, meaning that the power Goku and Beerus were actually producing is not close to universe level and at best can shake the universe.

This makes this feat high multi solar system level.

Goku shakes world of void

This is pretty unquantifiable, the world of void is said to have no time or space... Yet there's gravity and time, this means that at least the area around the arena has space and time.

Kind of like this, around them there's space and time and the rest is nothing, or we just say that all the world of void has space and time and the statement that it doesn't is incorrect.

This still doesn't make Goku universe level, he's just shaking it he didn't destroy anything, I can shake a car but I can't destroy a car for example.

So this is only high multi solar system level - galaxy level which is pretty consistent.

Jiren destroying time

Hits abilities are confirmed to only work on someone weaker than him and someone stronger can power out, hits abilities are not the only ones with this flaw, it's the same with Hakai and so on. Many people think it's the characters gaining a resistance to these but that doesn't really work cause you need to look more so at how the abilities of the characters work and how they are counter acted.

Also Hits ability was never said to keep jiren in infinite time and space so it can't really be a universe level attack, there's also I thing called outliers.

So that's it for power let's go onto the speed category.

Raditz light speed... No.

OK let's actually debunk this thing, this goes against most other feats in the series pretty much and the only other time we see anything close to light speed is in the frieza saga, so this again is an outlier.

Goku circles Namek

This isn't really quantifiable unless you assume it's size is equal to earth's, in this case after transforming into a super saiyan Goku would be faster than light.

There aren't really much other speed feats to speak of in dragon ball z, except claims in the buu saga that people use to put them at MFTL+ however since here they're only FTL those aren't very credible and mostly go off assumptions anyway, so goku should be FTL+ by the end of Z.

As for dragon ball super the best you can do is compare Goku to Whis but of course Goku isn't as fast as Whis, though we can use multipliers to get Goku at MFTL to MFTL+

So there you have it. Goku is most likely Galaxy level and MFTL+ this may seem like low ball to some but I went over all the important information and feats for this, many dragon ball fans don't understand that you can't just go off of statements and take it at face value but I hope this helps, anyways hope you all enjoyed.
