>> Your camp is in a small clearing in the middle of the forest, right next to one of the streams, so water is easily accessible, but keep an eye on the kits and young trainees, lest they be swept away by the water. You make your dens in bushes around the clearing
>> there are no known clans or groups around
>> prey is plentiful in this Greenleaf season, and the weather is hot.
>> predators include wildcats, wolves, occasionally bears, foxes, badges, snakes, other hostile cats

Plot point
Yesterday brought a swirling summer storm down upon the Wanderers. Everything is wet with water droplets this morning, and all the loose prey, leaves, sticks, branches etc have been blown about. The clearing is now littered with debris. The stream has flooded, and half the clearing is under an inch of water, though the water is slowly receding.
We have been in this forest for a few weeks now and many wonder when the time to move on will come.
