The rain stopped making neil look towards the sky. The rush resumed after the rain. Environment outside the hospital may or may not be cheerful and as everything has exception so is this, sometimes we get happiness of new born infants whereas sometimes there are families who end up lossing their loved ones. Neil was still in his thoughts when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned his head to see dd sitting beside him with questionable face.

Dd tm yaha kaise.....

Boss ne bheja hai apke bare mein puchne ke liye maine tujhe bahut call kiye par tmne uthaya hi ni phir maine aunty ko call kiya to unhone kaha ki tum sab yaha ho.

Kya hua hai neil? Is everything okay? How is avni now?

That's when Neil eyes brimmed with tears. He wasn't in his senses to explain anything to him.

Dd hugged him patting his back .

Did you again lied to her? Dd asked breaking the hug.

Neil looked at him with guilt in his eyes.

Why neil why did you do this to her? What was her fault? As far as I know her she was a strong and brave girl. I had never seen her gloomy face but the day she called my don't know why but I felt something was wrong with her and then when she asked about your whereabouts I couldn't deny and showed you. Within seconds she cut the call. I felt calling her again but somewhere I thought that you will look into the matter and everything will be sorted out but I had no idea that it will end up like this.

Nothing has ended.... Neil hold his collar with blood in his eyes. Nothing has ended between us she was and will be forever mine. Did you understand. Avni is only mine. No one can snatch her from me.She is mine....... He sat with thud on the bench holding his head in anger.

What has gotten into you? Why can't you leave her. Just leave her she will be at peace.

No...no.... I can't no.... He shouted.

Why can't you? Dd shouted too in same anger.

Dd.. Dd yrr wo bolti thi mujhe ki hum dono ek dusre ki marzi se nhi mile hai humein to bhagwan ne milwaya hai aur sirf wahi alag kar skte hai. Aur.... Aur ye sach bhi hai dd jab jab maine chaha ki use dur ho jau tab tab wo mere aur karib ate gyi aur hamara rishta aur mazboot hota gya. Na to hum apni marzi se ek dusre se mil pate na ek dusre se alag ho paye the.

Wahh tumhain to uski bahut baatein yaad hai par kya tumhein yeh yaad hai ki use jhut se nafrat hai. Yaad hi hoga jab itni zaruri baatein yaad hai to yeh baatein bhi yaad hogi hi.... Dd spoke making him feel guilty again.

You know neil you should go & join the office ASAP and enjoy your day as you were enjoying without her. You were happy around those girls.

Enough dd... Neil shouted

I can't leave her. Main nhi ja rhi office jab tak meri avni thik hoke wapas mere pas ni aa jati aur is baar to main use apne saath leke jaunga hamesha ke liye . Mujhe koi fark ni pdta ki boss kya kehte h mujhe apni company me rakhte h ya ni mujhe koi fark ni padta infact main khud resign krna chahta hu jis job ki wajah se maine apni avni ko kho diya mujhe wo job ni chahiye. Main ye job isiliye kar rha tha quki ise avni ko khushi milti thi wo chahti thi ki main ek acha insan banu khud apne paron pe khade rahu maa paa ka sahara banu ek family ko chala saku.... Lekin ab jab wo is halat main hai to mujhse ni ho payega dd.... Mujhse nhi ho payega..... He broke down crying .

Dd made him drink water and went inside to see avni.

FLASHBACK.

Neil ye kya hai haan pagal jaisi baatein mt kro why are you leaving your job.

Avni I.... I can't spend time with you as we usee to do before.

So what you will leave your job.... Hosh mein to ho tum....

Na hu aur nahi rehna chahta hu avni....

Neil tm na pagal ho gye ho...

Haan to mera treatment kar do....

I haven't become doctor yet.

But I have became your patient.

Dialogues to suno inke ..... Kaha se laate hai aap aise dialogues.

Haan haan sach bta rha hu to tmhein dialogues lag rhe hai ab kya jaan nikal ke de du tab manogi kya....

Tum aur tumhari baatein neil.....I want you to become a responsible son . I want you to continue your job neil. Mujhe acha lgta hai jab koi bolta hai to ki neil kitna responsible ban gya hai.

Iska credit bhi to tumhein hi jata h na avni tum nhi hoti to main aaj ye job nhi kar rha hota...... Tum nhi hoti to main kabka bardbad ho chuka hota....

Shhhh, chup barbad hona itna asan bhi nhi Mr. Neil Khanna. Aur jb tk Dr. Avni Mehta hai apke saath tab tak to koi chance hi nhi hai apke barbad hone ka.

And the disconnected the call as both had to go for work.

FLASHBACK ENDS

Neil.... Mujhe tumhein kuch batana hai Dd spoke getting his attention.

He looked at him with tense face.

Avni ayi thi hamare office. The same day she suffered accident while returning.

What.. Neil was beyond shock.

Avni ayi thi aur tumne mujhe bataya kyu nhi...

Maine bola tha tumse ki main site pe gya tha isiliye mujhe nhi pta tha jab mai aya office to visiting register se clients ki details nikalte waqt main avni ka nam dekha phir jab abhi maine riya se pucha to usne mujhse kaha ki wo bahar gayi thi kisi campaign ke liye ate waqt airport Road me uska accident ho gya aur usi din avni subah hamare office mein ayi thi.

Neil was speechless for a second he was still trying to listen dad's words which was breaking him more.

He stood up and walk inside the hospital leaving dd behind. Dd too followed him.

He was aimlessly walking in the corridor thinking of avni when dd caught him as he was about to crash with stretcher.

Neil dhyan kaha hai tumhara....

He detached himself from dd and ran towards avni's room. He went straight to her room ignoring everyone.

He entered the room and saw the bed empty before he could go out his body gave up and he fainted on the floor.

Outside the room:

Riya neil ko dekho zara wo andar gya h avni ko na dekh kar wo pareshaan ho jayega.... Shweta spoke to her

Ji aunty....

She opened the door to see neil lying on the floor.

Aunty, uncle jldii aiye dekhiye.....

Riya hurriedly went to call the doctor.

After few hrs:

Maine inhe nind ka injection diya hai kuch ghante ye soyenge. Inka blood pressure kafi high hai aur stress ke wajah se inki mental health kharab ho rhi hai...Doctor spoke giving another shock to the family.
