(( Author Note: Welcome to chapter two of this story. The question of this chapter is, What's your worst fear? ))

Izuku looked out my window which was closest to his left as the car moved the exact speed limit down the old roads hes grown up with. Roads he could trace with his eyes closed and wrists bound behind his back. He knew every bump on the road driving to town and each dip you needed to go around to avoid the scare of your life.

He watched as the houses he walked past every day for school fade and even a few houses he had named fly past in a hurry. There was a brown house about two stories tall made from dark oak wood that he loved. The roof and the window outlining were made of a silver metal that looked like treasure when the sun hit hit just right. There were white curtains in front of each window that kept you from seeing in and there was always a medium sized brown dog that laid on the porch without a leash showing it was a loyal friend and pet.

He had always had a strange name for this beautiful house. He always called it, The Gingerbread House. He was about six when he started to call it that. It just...stuck.

The Gingerbread House faded from view and Izuku decided not to recall any more happy memories he probably would cry over. He looked at his red shoes he would have to change out for those weird green colored army shoes. He hugged himself tightly, rubbing his arms feeling the cold AC from the vents try to in case him in ice. Well, that's what it felt like anyway.

The car went over the bridge to leave the town Izuku lived in. He counted each bump not ready to say good buy. He wanted to go back to his mother and hug her tightly. He wanted to go to school and learn to become a police officer to help people like the most honored police officer, All Might. However, there was no turning back now. He had to deal with this. The army was a better way to serve, so he will train and fight.

They crossed the bridge and Izuku felt like he was going to cry again. He took deep breathes making sure to keep quiet so the driver didn't do a report. This was hard on everyone sure, but there was an unbreakable bond with him and his mother that made this harder. Most teenage kids fight with their parents, but he made sure to take care of Inko and make her smile everyday, just like she did for him.

Izuku calmed down and wiped his eyes gently. He decided to try and make conversation with the driver. He looked in the mirror the driver would be able to see him and gave the best smile he could in this situation. "So, you know my name, but I don't know your name." He intertwined his fingers together being slightly uncomfortable. The driver gave him a short glance but turned his eyes to the road.

Izuku tried making conversation s few more times but when he didn't succeeded, he looked back out the window. Only fifteen minutes had gone but and the drive was around three hours long. This was going to be a long drive.

After an hour of driving, night started to darken the sky. Izuku yawned softly. The driver who had been silent this whole time finally spoke. "You'll need to rest now. You wake early tomorrow for orientation." Izuku was taken aback at how softly the man spoke and how similar to Bakugos it sounded.  He deiced it was nothing and nodded. "Yes sir." He laid back and was asleep almost right away. He had been crying so much he didn't realize how tired he was. His hands fell to his side and his head fell against the window.

The driver smiled softly seeing Izuku had fallen asleep and turned the air down so Izuku didn't get too cold. "And good luck young Midoriya..." He used his regular voice instead of the raspy deep voice he had to hide his with. He took his sunglasses and hat off and continued driving.
