I love Wave as a prefix. It isn't used very often at all, and it can make some cool names. -strike is pretty popular, but I love it. Wavestrike is just a super cool name, good job.

Ehhh... Brown tabbies are already very overused, plus the blue eyes make this a very unoriginal appearance. The white is good, but still not the most unique. I'd like it more if you did something with the white: spots, specks, stripes, patches, anything.

a young leader and is very calm under pressure. they are organised but sometimes can be snappy towards cats, usually if they are impatient.

Neat. You don't see cats described as calm or organised. Most ocs are "kind and curious" or something like that. This is a bit more unique. He doesn't seem to have a lot of flaws, but his good traits are uncommon, so it's good.

backstory: he was born without any siblings, and his parents [mother foxdust, father treespark] were both killed when he was an apprentice in a fox attack. his apprenticeship was delayed because he couldn't concentrate, and became mean to cats who once liked him. became leader very young, after the previous leader was killed by greencough. he wasn't expecting to become leader until much later, which may have caused stress and for him to act snappy towards other cats. he found a mate, called sparrowsoar but has no kits :(

This is nice! It's a simple backstory, I like it. I like that he reacted realistically to the pressure of being a young leader. This is okay.

8/10, his appearance is not the most unique. You should add a cooler fur pattern. I'd change his eye color to yellow or a light gray. His backstory is pretty simple, but realistic.. that's pretty much all.
