Time from last chapter: 6 moons

The river was freezing now. Coldheart slammed his paws on the cold, icy river covered in a slippery pelt. The ice broke and the rushing river washed some more ice away. Coldheart shivered a little as he put his paws in the angry, rushing water, then quickly took his claws back up with a fish dangling from his paws. He purred a little in satisfaction, but stopped as Acornmist came by, not bothering to hide the heavyness of her pawsteps.

"What do you want? It's not like I will be happy today or something," Coldheart growled. Acornmist completely ignored him and walked right next to him and sat down.

"Lakestar wants to speak with you," Acornmist sighed, "he wants you to come back as soon as possible." Coldheart let out a deep breath. Probably in trouble for being very angry at the other warriors.

"Ok, ok, tell him I'm coming, I got this big protesting trout who wouldn't like to be eaten," Coldheart meowed with a hint of annoyance in his voice. Acornmist laughed.

"You're funny," she mewed happily and simply trudged away. Coldheart just stared.

Since when am I so funny?  he thought to himself. He just shook his head and went back to camp.
