This is probably one of this biggest shipping debates ever, next to Firestar and Dovewing.

Kind, sweet, gentleman, and crazy. Erin Hunter confirmed he wasn't, then he was, and I don't try to figure it out anymore. Is he, or not??! In my opinion, he's a bit to old for her, but I guess that didn't stop Sorreltail and Brackenfur. So, he just didn't match her fire, and if he broke out like that, I don't think he could've handle Squirrelflight for that long. I mean, Bramblestar barely does. Has anyone thought about this; Ashfur is older than Brambleclaw, yes. Ashfur was born in "Into the Wild." Brambleclaw was born in "Forest of Secrets." Does anyone care to argue? I have seen people argue that Brambleclaw is older. I laugh every time. Anyways, on to Bramblestar.

Ah, the heir to Tigerstar. The smart one, anyways. (Not including Tawnypelt or Mothwing) He's a big, fat, strong, annoying, awesome, skilled, dangerous, tabby furball. He was a total (French word) during his own book! "Oh, yeah Jessy? Sorry Squirrrelflight! Jessy wants to talk to me pointlesslay to annoy you! So sorry!" One hour later.... "What's Squirrelflight upset about? It's like some cat dumped her!" Idiot. He can be pure awesome when he's nice to Squirrelflight, but when he's not, he's got few reasons. This cat needs to keep Squirrelflight at his side, because, dang, he needs her. Forever. Peace! 4.5 stars
