* Yeah, I still mostly agree with this. You're telling me there's nothing else you can do here? You can pick any cat to use as a POV, and you use it for this? Is there nothing happening in other Clans? Is there nothing critical that happened in the past? Is there really no background context that reader needs immediately for the story to make sense? Hell, the prologue doesn't even need to be in the past. If you're doing this trope, add some flair to it beyond "proud mother and father naming kits."
