A few moons went by as the young kit grew......

"Hehe c'mon FlameKit your gonna be late"
A voice said, FlameKit meowed
"Hey don't count me out just yet"
The brightly flame colored cat said as she rushed past a dark black furred cat with purple eyes
"Besides I'm faster than you RavenKit"
She smiled as the two kits slowed down and went up to their mother MistFur and their siblings FernKit, RiverKit, and FrogKit, the kits were hushed by their mother as MistFur tried to listen in on the ceremony as MudStar was staring directly at them, he purred with amusement after having seen the kits dart out of the nursery right after cleaning themselves up
"As you know today we will honor StarClan by appointing new apprentices, I hope StarClan may watch over these young cats so that someday they themselves will grow up to be something MarshClan will be proud of"
MudStar said as he smiled
"FernKit step forward"
He meowed as the light blue-ish grey  furred kit climbed up the tree trunk to stand beside MudStar he smiled before letting out a loud meow that rang about echoing all around camp
"FernKit until you have earned your warrior name you will now be known as FernPaw, DawnStep do you accept the role of FernPaw's mentor?"
He asked as the other cats all turned to look at DawnStep the young cat was sitting there calmly though her eyes glowed with joy, MudStar must have spoken with her and the other mentors before deciding his choice
"I accept"
She said and bowed her head before FernPaw went over to DawnStep and the cat rubbed her nose against her new mentor, MudStar looked at FrogKit now as the young dark furred apprentice seemed to be buzzing with joy
"FrogKit please step forward"
He said as the kit climbed the tree to stand next to MudStar
"Until you have earned your warrior name you will be called FrogPaw, NightClaw will be your mentor"
He said as FrogPaw smiled and nodded as he climbed down the tree and went over to NightClaw the old warrior smiled slightly at this
"RiverKit please, step forward"
He said as RiverKit climbed up next to him
"From this day on you shall be known as RiverPaw, CloverLeaf, do you accept your choice as RiverPaw's mentor?"
The medicine cat nodded
"Of course"
She mewed calmly
"Then I hope you pass on your knowledge of herbs, wisdom, and compassion to this young apprentice"
He said as RiverPaw went over to CloverLeaf and smiled as she sat next to her though the real Medicine Cat's ceremony wouldn't begin until tonight, MudStar looked at RavenKit
"RavenKit step forward"
He said as the young jet black kit climbed up the tree and sat beside him
"RavenKit, from this day forward until you have earned your warrior name you will be called RavenPaw, your new mentor shall be HawkEye"
He said as RavenPaw smiled and climbed down the tree going over to his mentor receiving a lick on the head, FlameKit sat next to her mother as she watched this, she smiled happy for her siblings, MudStar turned his attention to the last kit
"FlameKit, please step forward"
He said as FlameKit quickly went over to the tree and climbed it as she now stood on the branch next to MudStar
"From this day forth, this apprentice shall be called FlamePaw until she has earned her warrior name, FlamePaw I will be training you myself"
He said before the clan began to chant
"FernPaw!, FrogPaw!, RiverPaw!, RavenPaw!, FlamePaw!"
The cats said as they cheered happily and broke up into groups to congratulate the apprentices and their mentors
