(Cat above is Sparkkit)

"Dewpaw! Willowpaw! Sparkpaw!"

Stormspot joined in the clan, chanting the new apprentices' names. The same dark storm clouds rolled across the sky but still no rain came. The clan had woken up early that morning to hold the ceremony. Fireclaw had been the first warrior up, getting to the nursery as quickly as his legs could carry him.

A moon had passed since the fox attack. The two foxes hadn't been seen since, which of course didn't change Fallowstar's mind on whatever Wolfstar was further planning.

As the noise died down, several cats went to congratulate the new apprentices while others went off to tend to their duites. Sparkpaw was heading through the thorn tunnel with his new mentor, Poppycloud; Dewpaw and his mentor Branchpelt were tending to the elders; Willowpaw and her mentor Lightflame were talking not far from the warriors' den.

Stormspot padded around the clearing a couple of times, unsure of where he wanted to be or who he wanted to be with. He wasn't sure about anything anymore. His clanmates were open with their hatred, suspicion, or concern regarding ShadowClan's antics. He had hidden his fear fairly well. Neither Fernshade, Cloudwing, or his parents had figured out how terrified he was of what ShadowClan would do next.

Would they lure more predators to them? Attack a patrol at the border? Would they attack their camp like they did?

Every passing day that they didn't see any sign of ShadowClan only made Stormspot more fearful. If ShadowClan was going to attack them, he wished they would just get it over with so that some of his anxiety would lessen.

"Stormspot!"

Stormspot nearly leapt out of pelt as Fernshade bounded up to him.

"Isn't it great?!" His sister exclaimed.

"Yes." Stormspot agreed. "You must be proud of your kits."

Fernshade shook her head. "Well yes but, I meant about Poppycloud. He hasn't been a warrior that long and he's already a mentor."

"Right. Yes, it is great." Stormspot meowed. "I'm proud of him. He'll teach Sparkpaw well."

Fernshade smiled. "Of course he will. He was trained by you."

She flicked her tail and padded off. Another rumble of thunder sounded in the sky. Several cats turned their gazes to the sky and out of the corner of his eye, Stormspot noticed Whitepool and Pinestripe flatten their ears. Badgerpaw sat betweent them, looking worried. The young apprentice still hadn't quite adjusted to his new clan. He often had a look of fear or nervousness in his eyes. But he wasn't the only one anymore.

The dark clouds had casted a shadow of uneasiness over several cats in the clan. Many had wondered if it was an omen, a warning, or just weird weather. Stormspot had hoped it was just the weather but from the looks of Whitepool, Pinestripe, and occasionally Fallowstar...something told him that that wasn't the case.

He tore his eyes away from the sky, and padded over to the warriors' den, where his mother was sitting. "Hi, Rainflight."

"Hello." Rainflight greeted. "You seem..unlike youself."

Stormspot sighed and sat down. "The clouds are making me nervous. What if they're a sign?"

Rainflight placed her paw on his. "If they're a sign, a bad omen, or just weather, whatever happens next will be StarClan's will. StarClan knows what they're doing and we have to trust them."

Stormspot sighed again, knowing his mother was right. She always was. No matter what would come next, they could handle it. Shadowclan hadn't made them weak; they weren't afraid.  They were strong, loyal, determined, faithful.

They were ThunderClan.

A/N: sorry this chapter was short. Next one will be too, just a heads up. Ok. That's all .
