Camille O' Connell. Ah yes, The Original's Moral Compass.

Was I wrong? No.

I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH WITH THIS ONE TOO, BUT CAMI DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER.

It's one of the main reasons why I don't like Lucien. Sure, he's a nice villain and all, but he had the literal audacity to bite my baby and be the cause of her death, and for that, I cannot really forgive him for that.

While on the other hand, I think that was an unexpected thing to do, but they had to add it in because Leah wanted to leave the show, mainly due to all the hate she was getting from Klarowhine shippers.

This is exactly why some Klarowhine shippers don't fucking deserve rights!

Anyways, Camille is such an amazing character. Though, I kind of wished that her story didn't necessarily have to revolve around Klaus as much as it did. If that makes any sense.

People LOOOOVE to compare her to Caroline when they are so different from one another. Just because their blonde and they had Klaus Mikaelson simping for them, doesn't mean that you get to say that they are the same person but one is a carbon copy of them.

Honestly, Camille > Caroline. (sorry)(not really)

Though, we can somewhat agree that after Cami turned into a vampire that her character just kind of went down low.

Also, I feel like her becoming a vampire was just too expected, because literally besides Matt, no human in either shows stay human, they always somehow turn into vampires.

She defended Klaus from Mikael, helped the Mikaelsons, was a friend to literally almost everyone in the show (besides the enemies ofc), and genuinely she was the sweetest person and too kind for her own good.

But the thing that made me love her was her flaws. She also had a darkness inside of her that she was so afraid of it taking over her, especially when she turned into a vampire since their emotions and everything is just heightened.

I think one of the more reasons she was afraid of her own darkness, was because she didn't want to fall into the same hole of insanity as her Uncle and Twin brother had gone through. But both of them were under an insanity hex anyways.

It's such a shame we rarely got any flashbacks of her earlier life. We only get references of it. Especially with a lot of the characters on the show. But I wanted to see her and Sean together.

And the fact that they barely even mentioned him throughout the whole series even though he is her LITERAL TWIN?????

Disappointed is an understatement, but we deserved to see more of her past in general.

Even though I love Klayley sm, as I ranted about in the last chapter, I really would've adored Cami getting married to Klaus and her becoming Hope's stepmom LIKE AHHHHH I CAN JUST IMAGINE THEIR SCENES TOGETHER.

IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY, that Cami didn't live to see Hope grow up. She was such an important figure in that baby's life like wtf. We barely got mentions of her in S4 nor S5 in general.

But at the end of the day, she was one of THE best characters on the show, you cannot tell me otherwise.

A/N: FINALLY DID ONE of my overhated bby. she's one of the my favorite characters ever, and i have proof (well not really lol).
