Junko: For those who live in villages and remote houses in the Empire, it's no surprise that life is pretty hard.  The threat of bandits, danger beasts, and warring tribes is constant, and survival is never a guarantee. Getting eaten, mugged, murdered, and worse are all very realistic fates one can meet. But some still hold out hope to move to the empire's capital city and start a new life... one that's likely to be short-lived to be honest.

Dizzy: Those in power in the Empire are worse monsters than any danger beast could ever hope to be. And standing atop a pile of corpses above them all is none other than the top General, Esdeath, whose name translates quite literally to "Ice death".

Jinko: And now I know what to name my bear!

Dizzy: Esdeath grew up in the harsh Northern Frontier, where the law of survival of the fittest ruled the lands and strength mattered more than anything else. Trained by her father, the chief of her village, she quickly learned to become a brutal and merciless killer who hunted dinosaurs for the sport even as a young girl. Unfortunately for her and the rest of the country, that all changed when she came home after a hunting mission to find her tribe massacred by bandits, including her father, who passed away in her arms.

Junko: If you think that's the reason she became so ruthless, think again. Like she would actually care for the death of her father. That man only died 'cause he was too weak to begin with. 

Dizzy: Still, with nothing but her training and her father's teachings, Esdeath traveled to the Capital, joining its military and rising through the ranks to become one of its deadliest tacticians and killers. Eventually, she even earned the right to choose a Teigu, one of a set of 48 magic items created hundreds of years ago. Naturally, she went right for the one that killed all who previously attempted to wield it, and instead of succumbing to its immense power, she overcame and mastered it, cementing her spot as the Empire's deadliest fighter.

Junko: Second deadliest at least. Akame was in the empire at the time after all.

Akame: No... even for myself, Esdeath would be considered too strong.

Akame: She can tear her foe's face off with a single kick. She's frozen rivers, slaughtered entire armies, and taken down enemies the size of skyscrapers.

Dizzy: She's taken on Leone, Akame, and Tatsumi. Once she even fought all three at once. 

Junko: Leone can lift large pillars with ease and Tatsumi I strong enough to take on Schriza- ... Shitza... Sinza... the Emperor's Taigu! The one that's so strong it could annihilate an entire town!

Dizzy: She's also incredibly fast.

Dizzy: She can move much faster than sound and even keep up with foes that can dodge lightning. 

Junko: She's blitzed Leone, Seryu, Tatsumi, Mine, and Akame herself!

Akame: Right. She dodged and blocked every punch, kick, and blow by Trump Card Susanoo and Stage 1 Incursio Tatsumi, all while testing them and not fighting back... even with a Teigu that could see into the future and read Esdeath's every move before she made it, she was still proven unstoppable. Both in terms of speed and durability.

Junko: Well duh! We're talking about a chick who can chop her own arm off and still kill hundreds of people like it's nothing!

Akame: She was unaffected by Heavy Pressure's trump card Nasty Voice, a sound-based attack that pulverizes the bones of those it hits. She also wasn't phased by Blaze Ball, which possesses the ability to vaporize a human, minus their bones, instantly. She's taken hits from Susanoo and Stage 2 Incursio Tatsumi, who can... as Junko said... knock down Shikoutazer with a single punch.

Dizzy: Even Stage 1 Incursio could shred several normal humans to nothing but blood in seconds... but Esdeath is no normal person. She's an incredibly dangerous and cunning general.

Junko: ... Um Dizzy? You grabbed the wrong GIF.

Dizzy: I was in a rush...

Akame: Regardless, Esdeath is an incredibly skilled hand-to-hand fighter and swordswoman. She's also the perfect leader and general, having taken down nearly every tribe and army that opposed the Empire.

Junko: She's like a gender-bent Darth Vader but without the redemption and I'm all here for it! Too bad she fell for such a generic and boring main character.

Dizzy: She can sense Leone's and Tatsumi's presence quite easily, despite the latter being invisible at the time. And even when blinded, she defeated four Teigu users trying to ambush her.

Junko: Her immense killing aura is so overwhelming she can bring an entire army to their knees with her presence alone! It's enough to scare off Leone and even Tatsumi admitted that the sheer pressure she emits gives her no openings! Hell, she can break free from illusions with her willpower alone!

Akame: Esdeath is incredibly cruel and sadistic with a vast amount of knowledge of the human anatomy.

Junko: She knows every vital point, every crippling area, and can keep her victims alive while ensuring they suffer unbearable pain! And to nobody's surprise, she's perfect at torturing others.

Akame: As far as weapons go, Esdeath has her Rapier.

Akame: A type of sword with a slender and sharply-pointed two-edged blade and is a single-handed weapon. Popular in Western Europe for civilian use and as a military sidearm, the rapier usually has an average blade length of 3.4 feet but can even reach up to 4.25 feet.

Junko: But her main weapon is the Demon God Manifestation... Demon's Extract!

Junko: Esdeath's very own Teigu.This was created from the blood of a Danger Beast and anyone who drank the blood would be driven insane and die! And because of this, Esdeath drank the entire thing and made the Teigu her bitch! Now it takes the form of a mark above her chest that nobody is looking at, and it gives Esdeath the ability to control and manipulate ice!

Dizzy: Right. Esdeath can create any large amount of ice in mere moments and is so skilled in using it that she once froze an entire river like it was nothing.

Akame: With this new power, Esdeath can use multiple techniques like the Weiss Schnabel.

Akame: A technique where she fires a barrage of ice at her opponent. At her strongest though, she can create hundreds of icicles in a single instant.

Dizzy: Then there's Grauhorn.

Dizzy: A technique in which Esdeath uses her ice manipulation to cause a large spike of ice to burst out of the ground or any other surface that she chooses. It can be small enough to pierce a person's body or as tall as a skyscraper.

Junko: She can also make an ice tree to fire a bunch more. My personal favorite technique is Hagelsprung!

Junko: Where she creates a large mass of ice above her before throwing it down at the opponent, crushing them without a problem! She's basically pulling a Madara at this point!

Dizzy: And these are just her more basic attacks. She has other abilities too, like the Flash Freeze.

Dizzy: As the name suggests, she freezes the Target in a block of ice in an instant. She can freeze anyone through physical contact or simply by thinking about it. She doesn't even need to look at her opponent to submerge them in ice. She can also shatter it in an instant.

Junko: She used this technique to freeze a large river and even multiple Ultimate-Class Danger Beasts that dwarf multi-story buildings!

Akame: She also has ice shields.

Akame: Multi-layered shields meant to protect herself from enemy attacks. She can also create armor to cover her blind spots.

Junko: Or just create a fucking ice mech suit! Seriously, by this point, her ice powers are only limited to her imagination. She can make a giant shredder to slaughter hundreds of soldiers, create massive ice walls, form ice blades, and even replace her arm with an ice blade! She can even make an army of ice soldiers!

Akame: This is her Ice Calvary, which she uses to manipulate the ice to take form and create tens of thousands of soldiers and horses or... centuarian knights... as her own personal army. These beings are capable of controlling themselves and are strong enough to be a threat even for Stage 2 Incursio Tatsumi. And if that's not enough, she can attach her ice to her limbs and fly.

Junko: Seriously, how is that even possible? What next? She's going to stop time?

Dizzy: Actually she can... 

Junko: Oh c'mon!

Dizzy: Well it's not really stopping time but with an ability known as Mahapadma, she can quite literally freeze time and space even if it's only for a brief moment. Despite the short limit, Esdeath can basically do whatever she wants while time is frozen and will go in for the kill.

Akame: And this is just one of her three trump cards along with the Ice Calvery. The third one is her Ice Storm Commander-In-Chief.

Akame:  By absorbing all of her Ice Cavalry soldiers at once, Esdeath's ice manipulation powers get severely amplified. With this amount of power, she was able to cause a massive snowstorm on a country-wide scale and cover everything in ice and snow. It's her way to "weed out the weak from the strong" while also giving herself an easier time at making ice constructs.

Junko: Yeah I take it all back. Akame, how in the world did you beat miss Icy Death over here?

Akame: Well it took a lot but luckily Esdeath does have her own flaws.

Akame: Her biggest weakness has to be her biggest weakness would be her sadism and lust for battle. If she were to fight against someone she deems worthy, she has a habit of dragging out fights to test their strength as well as make them suffer.

Dizzy: This is what would lead to her defeat and death at Akame's hands. And while she has a vast amount, her ice reserve is still limited and she can run out as unlikely as it is. This is why Mahapadma can only be used once a day as it drains her stamina.

Junko: But hey, if I had enough ice magic to turn a whole continent into Antarctica, I'd be messing around with it too! Though she has bad taste in men, she's defiantly one of the most dangerous ice users out there!

Esdeath:  I don't understand the feelings of the weak. The law of the world is survival of the fittest. It's how the weak are weeded out. It just means those people that died were too weak. It's only natural for the weak to perish.
