Junko: There are only three things that make a badass protag. First off you gotta have a badass personality, not taking bullcrap from nobody. Second, you have to have badass summoning by your side. And third, you need to have a badass bike!

Dizzy: But Jotaro doesn't have a bike...

Junko: Then steal one. Regardless, these two are the badest third protags out there.

Dizzy: Jotaro Kujo, the third JoJo of JoJo's Bizzare Adventure.

Akame: And Yusei Fudo, the Turbo Duel Emperor of Yu-Gi-Oh.

Dizzy: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-Death Battle!!!

Jotaro Kujo was riding his bike in the middle of the city when Yusei drove right past him at high speeds.

Jotaro: What the? (That seemed unnatural. Could he be a Stand user? Regardless I can't let that slide.)

Jotaro quickly went to follow behind him.

Jotaro: Hey you there! Pull over!

Yusei: Hm? Sorry, you're gonna have to make me.

Yusei started to speed up.

Jotaro: Good grief

Jotaro summoned Star Platinum who inhaled to pull Yusei closer. 

Yusei: Geh! Alright then... I summon Junk Warrior!

He pulled out a card and summoned Junk Warrior, who went for a punch at Jotaro but Star Platinum was quick to clash with the monster's fist. 

Yusei: What?

Star Platinum punched Junk Warrior and knocked it back to Yusei's side.

Yusei: (I didn't see him use a card. What just happened?)

He looked back and noticed Jotaro pulling out bullets and ball bearings. Jotaro fired them off at him and Yusei quickly took a hard right to dodge them. Jotaro turned right in the opposite lane as Yusei pulled out another card.

Yusei: This time I'll activate the Spell Card, Double Summon! 

He threw it and summoned both Speed Warrior and Nitro Warrior, both of whom had their power boosted as soon as they were summoned.

Jotaro: He can summon more than one?!

Yusei was driving past a bunch of cars as Jotaro was driving away from the three monsters Yusei summoned. Nitro Warrior dashed at Jotaro and went for a kick but Star Platinum blocked the kick and punched the Monster away. Junk Warrior then went for a downward punch but  Star Platinum kicked it away. Speed Warrior managed to get past Star Platinum and try and grab Jotaro, but Jotaro ducked under the attempt and hit Speed Warrior with the back of his hand, knocking it back.

Jotaro: (His focus is on me... not Star Platinum. In other words, he most likely can't see my Stand... meaning he's no Stand user.)

Nitro Warrior and Speed Warrior both dashed at him.

Jotaro: Star Finger!

Star Platinum aimed its fingers as they extended and stabbed through the heads of the two Monsters and they both disappeared. Meanwhile, Yusei drove his Duel Rider onto a Car Hauler and jumped onto the same lane as Jotaro landing right behind him.

Yusei: (He destroyed two Monsters at once without one of his own... no... there's definitely something there!)

He pulled out another card.

Yusei: I summon Stardust Dragon!

He summoned a dragon that immediately fly at Jotaro and swung its claws. Star Platinum blacked it right away.

Star Platinum: Ora ora ora ora ora!!!

The Stand hit the Dragon with a barrage of punches and sent it flying back.

Yusei: I'm not done! With the Speed Fusion Card, I can fuse Stardust Dragon with Junk Warrior to summon Dragon Knight Draco-Equeste!

As he said this, he fused the two monsters and formed a brand-new one. Equeste swung its lance and Star Platinum quickly blocked it with its fists. 

Yusei: Now I'll summon Majestic Star Dragon and resummon Stardust Dragon!

Once again he ended up summoning two cards at once.

Yusei: And finally, I'll fuse the two of them to make Shooting Star Dragon!

The two cards fused to make another dragon. This monster immediately flew at Jotaro.

Yusei: (Equeste is holding the invisible monster back. Now you're left wide open!)

As he said this, Star Platinum threw Equeste to the side and dashed at Shooting Star Dragon, elbowing it away from Jotaro as it quickly flew into the sky, flapping its wings.

Yusei: What?!

Jotaro: Looks like you're close to backing me into a corner. But there's one thing you forgot... my secret technique...

Yusei: Secret technique? (What is this guy planning?

Jotaro: That's right. A secret technique passed on to the JoJo family for generations...

Yusei got his card ready.

Jotaro: And that technique is...

Suddenly, Jotaro stopped his bike, causing Yusei to drive right past him.

Yusei: Huh?!

Jotaro ended up making a hard left as Yusei quickly turned around to chase after him.

Yusei: All of a sudden trying to run? Sorry, but you're not getting away that easy!

The two of them drove on a bridge as Jotaro knew what to do.

Jotaro: I'm not trying to.

Star Platinum came up and punched the bridge, causing the entire half behind Jotaro to collapse. Jotaro stopped his bike and watched as Yusei fell down with it. But Yusei wasn't giving up that easily. He revved his Duel Rider up and in a flash of light flew above the broken bridge and above Jotaro.

Jotaro: Star Platinum... Za Worldo!

Time suddenly paused as Jotaro took out a spear and threw it. He tilted his hat as time resumed and the spear stabbed into the Duel Rider, sending both the Rider and Yusei crashing behind Jotaro.

Jotaro: Good grief. Are you done playing games now kid? I'm not letting you use another one of those cards.

As he said that, Equeste dashed at him and trusted its lance, but Star Platinum blocked the attack.

Star Platinum: ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!

He started hitting the monster with a barrage of punches until it eventually ran low on defense points. Before it could disappear, Yusei quickly got rid of it.

Yusei: I'm not done yet... You-

He reached for his cards.

Jotaro: Za Worldo!

Jotaro stopped time again.

Jotaro: Didn't I tell you? I'm not letting you use those cards.

Star Platinum then started hitting Yusei with a barrage of punches.

Star Platinum: ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!!!!!

Time resumed and Yusei was sent flying through the air, crashing into a semi-truck. Jotaro sighed and turned to look at him.

Jotaro: What?!

His eyes widened as he saw Yusei standing back up completely unharmed by the barrage of punches.

Yusei: Suprised? On my way here, I sacrificed Shooting Star Dragon to make myself temporarily impervious to all of your attacks! On top of that, you just activated my Trap Card! Once my Equeste was in low health, I took it back and used the trap card so you will receive twice as much damage as it had!

He pointed at Jotaro who suddenly coughed up blood and was bleeding everywhere.

Yusei: Unlike you, I'm not the type to rely on only one card, and you're about to find out why! Now I'll resummon Shooting Star Dragon! And by fusing it with two Non-Turner Synchros I can summon Shooting Quasar Dragon!

Yusei fused three cards together to summon his most powerful monster. 

Jotaro: Star Platinum... Za Worldo!

Jotaro went to stop time but nothing happened.

Jotaro: Nani?!

Yusei: This card isn't affected by any of your special abilities! Now, go get him!

Shooting Quasar Dragon flew at Jotaro and took a bit out of him, bringing him up into the sky. Jotaro quickly used Star Platinum to punch it in the face, causing the monster to let go of him and swat him away with its arm, sending Jotaro flying into a building. Jotaro quickly recovered and used Star Platinum to fly after the monster that flew after him in return. Before Jotaro could make his next move, Quasar chomped him in half and smashed him into the ground with its tail. It then stomped on the rest of Jotaro's body, squashing whatever was left of him. Yusei turned around as the monster started to disappear.

Yusei: It's over...

Dizzy: You know what... it's not as good as I wanted it to be but it's not as bad as I thought it would be either. Still... you can totally tell whoever wrote this doesn't have much experience with card games...

Akame: Either way, this was definitely a battle of who can outsmart the other.

Dizzy: Right. As far as summoning goes, Yusei clearly had the better ones in terms of hax, strength, and durability. However, Jotaro's Stand was much faster. In addition, Yusei couldn't exactly see it and none f his cards could necessarily destroy it either. And Star Platinum would have a hard time dealing with card monsters that have high enough durability so the two pretty much counter each other, causing both Jotaro and Yusei to try to focus on the one using the summoning instead.

Junko: Luckily for Yusei, he had a huge speed advantage while on his bike. And even if Jotaro got Yusei off the bike, Yusei himself had plenty of hax to make the speed gap no longer matter. He could even weaken Star Platinum or nullify his abilities altogether given the right circumstances!

Akame: Of course, if they were to both fight with no summoning at all, Jotaro's own speed, power, and experience would give him the victory in that regard, but not in one such as this. Now in regard to using Star Platinum Over Heaven, Jotaro has used this and lost it at the end of the video game, but we did not use it simply because of that nor because of whether or not the game is canon. We decided not to use it simply because the result will still be the same.

Junko: Yeah, one of the drawbacks of Dio's World Over Heaven was that he couldn't make changes to the Stand itself. In regards to Jotaro, this means every hax Yusei can use against Star Platinum would still be effective as Jotaro would not be able to nullify it. Sure, it would help him take out some of the more powerful monsters, but even the ones that can just nullify his powers will be a huge pain in the ass.

Dizzy: In the end, it proves Yu shouldn't underestimate Yusei... because he can always Gi him in the end.

Junko: ... ... ... Yeah your puns suck...

Dizzy: Oh...

-Connections: The protagonists of the third parts in long-running franchises spanning generations, having parts of their name inherited from the previous main characters of the previous parts. (Yu for Yusei and JoJo for Jotaro.) The two are delinquent youths who often got into trouble with the authorities, eventually getting pulled into a grander conflict involving a mark on their skin. (The Joestar Birthmark and The Mark of the Dragon.) The two fight with spirit warriors, their most notable being ones with "star" in their name (Star Platinum and Stardust Dragon), and even introduced a new method of combat with their series. (Stands and Synchro Monsters.) The two even upgraded these abilities later on in the series which would help them take down the villains in the end. (Jotaro/Star Platinum gained Dio/The World's time stop ability, and Yusei learned how to Accel Synchro Summon to summon Shooting Star Dragon.) They also fight alongside allies that use similar powers, including someone with a fire motif (Avdol and Jack Atlas), and someone (a group of people in Yusei's case) who shared the aforementioned mark on their skin.
