I could hear them, both laughing...

Make sure you separate his words from her thoughts in different paragraphs.

It was almost 9:00 a.m. It was okay, since it was Sunday. 

The time should be told. Apart from these I think your writing is on point. Your writing is easy to read and understand, and that's what is most important in writing. Review: An awesome book. Everything about your novel is eye-catching and mind-blowing! I love your use of language and writing style but... I feel there should be a short description of the whole story underneath the explanation you've given. Something not long; between 5-7 lines, showing what Jaiye is up to or what we should expect in the novel. I see most of the chapters are narrative. Try to use more dialogues to show the story instead of telling it. You did well my dear. Once again, congratulations.
