Meet AJ

AJ Arnault, known on Wattpad as Maraudin, has lived a hundred different lives before writing.

The former waitress—turned military officer—turned stay-at-home mom—turned mental health counseling grad student currently resides in southeastern Virginia.

She writes fiction in between chasing after her four kiddos, dopey labradoodle, grumpy cat, and incredibly tolerant husband.

Like many authors on Wattpad, AJ began penning Harry Potter fan fiction. As her confidence grew, AJ turned to writing original fiction.

Her first novel, The Problem With Dying, was selected for mentorship in 2020 by the fabulous Sal Mason and went on to become a Watty's 2020 shortlister. Even though she didn't win, AJ's story caught the staff's attention, and she was invited to become a Wattpad Star in January 2021.

Recently, her paranormal romance, Never Kiss a Vampire, was featured on the Stars Reading List on Wattpad's homepage.
