welcome to edition two of graphique!

At the end of edition one, we told you that edition two would be about incorporated graphics. We've decided to change that because we thought that we should go over probably what's the most important Wattpad graphic first — covers.

Covers are what draws a reader's eye to your story. They can captivate them and provide a visual hook that might be just as good as your description. Without a good cover, it's difficult for a story to become popular. But some people in the Warriors community have gone past 'good' covers to absolutely great covers, and today we're going to bring those forward to feast your eyes upon.

This book is currently #1 with the Warriors tag, and we've definitely got reason to believe that the cover contributed towards its popularity. First of all, the image selection was perfect; there's a strong and clear focus that's relevant to the story, with space for text and not too much going on in the background. The text placement is great; it's easily readable and your eyes are drawn to it. The font is simplistic, following the theme of the image, and again, very readable. Overall a great cover.

This is another cover that caught our eye while scrolling through the Warriors community. The colors are quite pretty and satisfying to take in, and the image selection was wonderful. It's simplistic, matching the cover theme, and even though there are multiple objects, you're able to take each aspect of the image in without any confusion. I do think the text placement could be better — perhaps moved to the right a little so that it's not so uncomfortably close to the border — but the font is very readable and fits in well. The only thing I would really take issue with is the author text, which is very difficult to read because while the font is nice, it's very very small. I might suggest trying to place it on the other side of the book so that you have room to make it bigger. This is a quite pleasing and aesthetic cover.

Here's another cover with pretty colors; we loved the clouds and the soft texture theme throughout the cover. The image is beautiful, and the text is appropriate too, though it is a little bit difficult to read(especially the author text). One issue I had with it was the quality; it could've been sharper and clearer, but sometimes, you just have to work with the image you have.
