1. What is your name?

My name is Olivia Caroline Janet, a pleasure to meet you!

2. How would you describe yourself? (in three sentences or more)

I'm a hardworking girl with a passion for cats, writing, and all things chocolate. I always try to see the good in everyone and I love to meet new people. My family is the most important thing in my life, and I spend most of my time having fun with them!

3. Have you ever been to a foreign country? Anywhere other than the one you would call home? If so, what are some interesting things you saw there?

No, unfortunately, though I wish I have. It would be quite nice to travel abroad! I have traveled to several states in the southern USA, though, including Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, Arkansas, and, of course, my home state of Louisiana.

4. What inspires you to write? A person, a place? Anything!

My cousins and family inspire most of my stories. They're the ones who cheer me on, who read my works and tell me how to improve. I don't know how I would have begun writing without them!

5. How old were you when you took an interest in writing?

I first took an interest in writing around the age of 4! Of course, I was just goofing off at the time, writing a story about trains, but as I got older, I really fell in love with the language arts. I began to commit to writing at around 11, where I first started creating full-length stories. I've been enjoying writing so much ever since!

6. Why did you choose your current username? Does it represent you? Does it have a story behind it?

My current username represents my purpose here on Wattpad. My name is Olivia Janet, and I'm here to write my hands off!

7. Do you prefer to write fanfictions or spoofs?

Ooh, that's a hard one. I absolutely love writing both!

8. Do you prefer to write a story in pencil on paper first? Or do you use a computer?

It depends! I typically write short stories out on pen and paper, but for long fanfictions and original stories, I usually type them on my laptop.

9. How did you find Wattpad, and what about it was the reason you decided to stay once you found it?

I found Wattpad from one of my school friends, who told me that I'd enjoy the site and its writing community. I actually wasn't going to stay at first, when I saw how similar it was at times to a social media site, but eventually, I came to find that the community was wonderful and encouraging and it was a great place to share my writing. I love the friends that I've made on here, and I can definitely say my writing has improved since joining.

10. What is your favorite book on Wattpad, why is it your favorite, and would you suggest this book to others?

So sorry, but I can't possibly choose a favorite! I've read plenty of Warriors fanfictions that I just couldn't put down, plus quite a few science fiction and fantasy stories.

11. Who is your favorite author on Wattpad and why?

I love reading JaneConquestBackup's books. They never fail to put a smile on my face, whether it be a joke, a funny text message, or just a random chapter about ridiculous things her cat does!

12. How did you find out about Warriors, and what made you stick to the series?

I found out about Warriors one day while I was at the library, searching for a new series to read, when some random kid walked up to me and shoved Into the Wild into my book bag and told me to read it right then and there. So, of course, after a while, I decided to pick it up and read it. The character development and storylines are really what hooked me on the series. The way the Erins took something so common as cats and created such complex stories and worlds from them just blew my mind. I really just couldn't put them down.

13. What is your favorite arc in Warriors? Why?

My favorite arc was the first arc! To me, it had the most in-depth character development, and it was the one that originally had me obsessed. Not lying, I promise you, I've read The Darkest Hour over 50 times. My entire family can confirm it.

14. What inspired you to write Warriors fanfiction/spoofs?

It was, as I've said before, my cousins! A long time ago, we used to each come up with our own Warriors characters and Clans, many of which have inspired portions of A Star Forgotten.

15. How many people do you know in person who also read Warriors?

Well, it used to be three. Now it's about 8 or 9, considering I've convinced all of my cousins to read them.

16. Who is your favorite character from the series? Why?

My favorite character from Warriors is Cinderpelt, not only because of her amazing personality, but because I oftentimes see myself in her. Her inability to be a warrior because of her injuries reminds me of my own medical conditions, and the way she overcame these struggles to become a medicine cat inspires me to put aside physical limitations and become the best I can be.

17. What tips would you like to give to any aspiring authors?

Write, write, write! Write all you can. Never let a day go by that you don't write something. Whether it be a journal entry, a short poem describing your emotions for the day, a roleplay, a full chapter, or just words scribbled on a page, write your heart out. The only way to become a better writer is to practice and learn. And never give up when faced with criticism. Don't take it to heart. Learn from it, and then write some more.

18. What would you say is the most important when writing a story?

Vocabulary and dialogue are the most important aspects of my writing. I feel like a higher vocabulary can really enhance a piece and hook readers in. I also include lots of dialogue, since I think it gives the readers a deeper connection to the characters speaking.

19. Tell us about any of your Warriors fanfiction(s), what it is about, and why we should read it.

I have one Warriors fanfiction at the moment, A Star Forgotten. It follows the tale of the StormClan leader, Ashstar, who woke up from the Moonstone without any memory of her past life. She begins her life anew in her Clan all while pretending she was the same cat she was before. However, between betrayals, deaths, and fierce battles, she finds this to be quite difficult. I think you all should read it because it's not your stereotypical "apprentice grows up to be the leader and saves the Clan with a prophecy" story. I've done my best to try and make A Star Forgotten as unique as I possibly could and develop all of my characters in rich detail.

20. Is there anything you'd like to say to your friends, fans, and readers? Any shout-outs to specific Wattpad members?

I'd like to say a thank you to all my friends who have supported me since my beginnings on Wattpad, especially flowercrownemilia, dapplespot, truffle-maintained, talfi, Tinted_Fox, mintdapple, CG_Draws, You guys are the best!!
