Maria finished as Luna rested her head on the edge of her hole, staring wide eyed. Luna looked down."I want to be friends, but how do we know if he won't swim away when he knows that you're my mom? Don't get me wrong, you're amazing, but I don't think it's normal to have a friend who's mom is a lantern shark." Luna said nervously.

Maria thought for a moment."Once he hears your story, I'm sure he won't judge you." She said confidently. Luna thought to herself.

After a while, Luna nodded in agreement and smiled a bit."Alright. Mira asked him to go to Crystal Cove, so you'll find him there." Maria said before leaving. Luna swam out of her hole and through the tunnels until she saw some coral and smiled wider. She swam to it and laid down, curling up with her tail covering her head as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
