Maybe all these sleepless nights,
Are what I need to know you're here,
Maybe all these fears,
Are what I need to keep you near,
Maybe all those who turn away,
Are what I need to turn to you,
Maybe all the lies I hear,
Are what I need to seek the truth,
Maybe all this endless stumbling,
Is what I need to reach out for help,
Maybe all this pain,
Is what I need to seek your peace,
For you LORD,
You are not a liar,
You do not deceive,
You love, and walk along side me through troubles,
You gave your only son to save those who believe,
In thanksgiving we follow you LORD,
And I pray that even in days when I do not worry,
That I will not pray less,
But pray more,
Because I do not only want to ask you for help,
I also want to thank you for all things,
Good and bad,
Maybe I need the hard times to understand you more,
How gentle you are with my heart,
How patient you are when I am difficult,
How loving you are when I do not deserve it,
How peace can just... all of a sudden cover me during a prayer,
Turning tears of fear,
To tears of thankfulness,
Let us always look to you for help,
Let us always thank you for all things,
