From adoption, to abortion,
From sanity, to irrationality,
From kindness, to sadness,
From living, to grieving,
From grieving to loosing it,
From loosing it, to finding you,
From finding you, to finding all I was searching for the-
Truth

You adopt me, you mend me,
You're my sanity, rationality,
You're kindness, cuts sadness,
I'm living, and joyfully,
maybe grieving, but not loosing it,
For now I have found you-
LORD

Even if we know you mend,
Why do many choose to play pretend?
Why can't you be the base?
Our lives base, to have a better place-
In our minds?
Rather than getting pushed,
Getting shoved aside by lies?
There again, not rational but-
Why?

Wasn't what he did satisfactory?
Dying and rising so we may be set free?
He's felt our grieving, heartache and pain,
He knows evil will always, try and get in our way,
And that not all people listen,
And that some people will remain the same,
Jesus Satan too tempted,
And tested,
God's only begotten son,
And in the end, know he's already won,
In the end, all the dark can do,
Is hurt and kill both flesh and bones,
Try deceiving, but God's not leaving,
if we choose to stay true to his-
Word

Word...
The word was made flesh,
The word Jesus Christ, has always been the truth-
The way, the truth and the life,
He didn't give in, or lose it,
He didn't loose it, or call it quits,
He didn't leave us, nor forsake us,
Thus-
A rational choice,
Would be to follow his voice,
Like sheep to a shepherd,
Who helps when a cry to him is-
Heard
