Digimon now live in the real world as well as the Digital World. Portals were created to maintain a link between the 2 world. A wealthy man decide create the Digimon Competition League. A league where Tamers and their digimon could battle each other to see who's stronger. The wealthy man, known user the Alias of Kruger, announced the opening of the Digimon Championship, a major competition to see see who's the greatest. The championship would be settled in divisions of Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Beginner.
