*Garroth's POV*

Unknown: Hey, is this Garroth~? 💖

You: Yes, this is the right number... Who's this?

Unknown: Whoops, didn't mention who I was.

Unknown: My name's Ivy!

Ivy? That name...sounds oddly familiar... Isn't she...the captain of the cheerleading squad? Oh, man...

You: Oh, hey.

You: Did Aphmau give you my #?

Unknown: Yup!

You: So, I'm guessing she told you what we're doing?

Unknown: Yeah, pretty much! So, you want me to be your girlfriend~?

You: Just to pretend for a little while.

Unknown: Anything for you, Garroth!

Oh, dear Irene...

[Changed "Unknown"'s nickname to "Ivy"]

You: That's good, I suppose...

Ivy: Tell me anything you want, Garroth~!

You: Well, new girlfriend... Would you like to go on a double date this weekend?

Ivy: Of course! 💖💖

Ivy: When?

You: I'm not sure. I'll text you the details later, Ivy. Bye.

Ivy: Bye, GarGar!

I shut off my phone, almost gagging. That was my mother's pet name for me. It was awkward coming from my pretend...girlfriend. Damn, I barely even know this girl. Hell! I don't know her at all! What did I get myself into..?

"Garroth!" A couple knocks came from the other side of my door. "Garroth! Mom says dinner is ready! She wants to know, if you are coming down!"

"Yes, Vylad...I'm coming..," I sighed, running a hand through my hair.

I hopped off the bed, walking over to my door. I heard the footsteps, belonging to my baby brother, scurrying down the hallway. I just needed to get my mind off of everything. The events with Laurance, this new thing with Ivy. Get over one obstacle, a new one takes it's place.

~~~
*Laurance's POV*
"Bye, Lucinda," I waved goodbye to her and she did the same, leaving my house.
I shut my house door, dreamily sighing. I've never dated anyone before, and I've never felt these feelings around anyone. And, by that...I mean... Are you supposed to feel something? I think there's something there...but I am not sure. I'm new to the whole relationship thing.
"Who was that?" I heard my sister's voice from behind me.
"My girlfriend," I smirked, turning on my heel to face Cadenza.
Cadenza scoffed, giggling. "She's cute, brother. Don't think she's your type, though."
"What? Are you jealous?" I chuckled under my breath, crossing my arms. I leaned against the wall, still smirking at my older sister.
"Yes, I am completely jealous of my little brother's girlfriend. Let's ignore the fact, that I have a boyfriend, and that he is the only person I am interested in, at the moment," Cadenza said, monotone.
I rolled my eyes, sticking my tongue out at her. She returned the gesture, twirling on her heel. I strolled over to the living room, after getting lost for a moment. I was still not used to living in this house.
Hell, I was not used to living in a home such as this... Or, a house at all... Okay, that went kind of deep...
"Laurance, are you alright?" Someone's gruff voice asked from behind me.
I jumped, a little startled. What was with people coming up behind me, today? Is that today's theme? I turned around, to be the adult male I recognized very well.
"Oh, Hayden... Yeah, I'm fine," I sighed, sitting down on the couch.
I pulled out my phone, deciding to send the details to Garroth. Lucinda and I discussed it, while she was over. Now, all I had to do was tell Garroth and...whoever his girlfriend is. He never mentioned.
"Laurance, bud, you know you don't have to call me Hayden, right?" He sat down on the couch beside me, patting my shoulder.
"Hm?" I looked up from my phone, staring into his eyes. "Oh, yeah, I know...I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize, bud!" Hayden let out a small laugh. "Call me whatever you'd like I don't mind."
"I see... Don't worry, Sir. If you want me to call you Dad, I can learn to!" I put on a large smile, turning back to my cell phone. I clicked on Garroth's name, starting to text him.
"I'm fine with whatever, Son."
He called me...son...
"Hayden, thank you..," I sent the details to Garroth, facing him once again. "Thank you, for taking in Cadenza and I. It really means a lot.
"Of course, Laurance," He ruffled my hair, before standing up. "Now, are you sure you are alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine... Just stressed with exams, and stuff," I partially lied. I had no idea why I was so conflicted. For all I know, it could be upcoming exams!
"Alright, let me know if you need something. I'll be around."
"I will. Thanks," I gave him a small wave.
Hayden nodded, before walking off. I sighed, checking my messages. I had new messages from Garroth...
Garroth: Sounds great!!
Garroth: Omi, after this, we should totally hang out. Just me and you. No girls.
Garroth: What do ya say???
Well...that was kind of sudden. And a little out of character...
*Garroth's POV*
"Who ya texting, big brother?" Vylad leaned over my shoulder, peaking at my messages.
"No one."
"Is that what we're calling Laurance now?" Vylad giggled, his eyes scanning over my phone. A small gasp could be heard from him. "YOU'RE GOING ON A DATE WITH HIM?!"
I dropped my phone on my lap, clasping a hand over his mouth. I shushed him, probably blushing madly at this point. I wish I was going on a date, with just him... I mean, what?
"No, Vylad! Double date!"
I glared at him, clenching my fists together, dropping it from Vylad's mouth. Mostly because he licked my hand. He's gross.
"Ah, I see. So, you and Laurance are going together along with... I dunno. Aphmau and...Katelyn. Right? All the gays?" Vylad giggled some more, pulling up a chair beside me.
I sighed, once again recalling today's events. Trying to keep myself in a positive mood, was not working. I'm not sure how Vylad can do it all the time. It's really hard... Especially when you have a broken heart.
"No. Laurance is going with his girlfriend..," I looked up at the ceiling, trying to avoid tears. I know, I'm a very emotional, and overdramatic person. I get it. "And I'm going with my girlfriend."
"Wait, what?" Vylad stared at me, wide-eyed for a moment. "I don't understand. All I care about at the moment...is that my ship sails."
"What?"
Before I could react, Vylad grabbed my phone from me. He ran off into a different room, and it took me a moment to process what had just happened. Once I did, I jumped out of my seat, chasing after my brother. Irene knows what he was doing.
I eventually found my baby brother, pacing back and forth, and texting someone- most likely Laurance. "Vylad! Give me back my phone!"
I stormed up to him, snatching my phone from his hands. I glanced at the messages he had sent Laurance, my heart dropping to my chest. I don't think words could describe, the amount of embarrassment I was feeling...
"Vylad! Why did you write this?! I don't want to hang out with Laurance! I told you, I hate him!" I snapped at Vylad.
"Then why are you going on a date with him~?"
"It's a double date!" I groaned, tugging at my hair. I was so frustrated. "My date, is Ivy. Not Laurance."
"Ivy?" Vylad rose an eyebrow crossing his arms. "Isn't that a girl?"
"Y-yes, she is..."
"You're totally trying to make Laurance jealous!" Vylad giggled, strolling out of the room. "That's just precious, big brother!"
"Vylad!" I yelled one more time, before giving up.
I sighed once more, feeling my phone buzz in my hand. I was absolutely certain, that it was from Laurance. Great...
💚Laurance💚: Yeah, that sounds fun, Garroth! I'd love to hang out. Just the two of us.
Oh no... Why did Vylad do this to me? I can barely stand looking him in the face, and now Vylad expects me to hang out with him?!
Also, he changed Laurance's nickname. I am so going to get him back for that, later. I know his passcode...
[Changed "💚Laurance💚"'s nickname to "💔Laurance💔]
You: Yeah, sounds fun, alright...
💔Laurance💔: Well, see you tomorrow?
You: I suppose.
Tomorrow is going to be a long day...
~The Next Day~
I walked up to the address, Ivy had texted me. I took in a deep breath, knocking on the door. My impatience was getting the better of me. But, I managed to calm, and control myself.
After what seemed like an eternity for me, the front door opened. A girl with vibrant pink hair, and light blue eyes, stood on the other side. She was dressed in a casual dress, and in heels. She was a very pretty young lady.
"Gareth!" A high-pitched voice beamed. "Great to see you!"
And, I think I'm deaf now.
"Actually, it's pronounced Garroth," I corrected her, nervously chuckling to myself.
"That's what I said."
Oh dear Irene...
"Right..," I fake-coughed, biting my lip. "Well, uhm...are you ready to go?"
"Yup! I'm so happy, you asked me out, Garroth! Maybe, after all of this is over, we could actually go out!"
That's a funny joke there, Ivy. It's not like, I'm not interested in girls, and am attracted to boys. Nope. Definitely not the case, at all.
"Yeah...maybe..."
Ivy squealed a little, clinging to my arm. I nervously chuckled again, beginning my walk to the movie theatre. That's where we were going. The most cliché of places to go. No originality at all, huh Laurance?
~~~

*Laurance's POV*

"Thanks for taking me out, Laurance," Lucinda leaned her head on my shoulder, giggling.

"Anything for you~" I winked at her, causing another small giggle.

After briefly checking the time, I looked up to see Garroth. He was walking over, with a cute, pink-haired girl. I think I recognized her. Lucinda's eyes lit up, when she saw the them.

"Ivy?!" Lucinda clapped her hands, jumping up.

"Lucy!" The girl outstretched her arms, bringing in Lucinda for a hug.

I glanced at Garroth, who seemed to be in his own world. He kept rubbing his thumb and forefinger together, for no apparent reason, and staring into space. He was probably lost in thought about something. It didn't faze me. I was used to seeing him like this.

"Well, our dates seem to know each other," I leaned over to Garroth, whose head shot up. Lucinda, and I guess, Ivy, were having some small, girl-talk. "That's a good thing, right?"

"Yeah, totally, I suppose..," Garroth sighed, dropping his hamd to his side. "Laurance...does Lucinda make you happy..?"

That's an odd question to ask.

"Yeah, she does. As happy as any, young teen should feel, eh?"

Garroth's head turned away from me, as he wiped something off of his face. He sighed once again, turning back. His eyes locked with mine, and he put a tiny smile on. I really liked his smile. It warms my heart.

"I-I'm glad..," he mumbled something else, but I merely shrugged it off.

I turned back to our girlfriends, clapping my hands together. "Alright, ladies...let's get going, shall we?"

"We shall," Lucinda linked her arm with mine, as I lead everyone into the movie theatre. And as we entered the entrance, I heard another small sigh from behind us...

I hope everything's alright...
