Evan drove as fast as he could without getting pulled over. He knew Jared probably wouldn't even be there yet, but he just couldn't wait.

He finally caught sight of the airport and excitement filled him. He pulled in to the pickup lane and parked. He pulled out his phone and saw that glorious text.

I'm coming now, I'll go to lane 5 💖

Okay Jared!!! I'm parked at lane 5 right now!! Can't wait, I'll be waiting outside of the car!!!

Evan hopped out of the car and leaned against it, waiting for his love to walk out.

The second he saw the flash of green coming towards him, his legs were moving and his face was damp.

The two gays hugged each other with force and love, both had tears of happiness.

Jared pulled away and kissed his husband.

"I missed you so much, babe!"
Jared exclaimed as he ended the kiss.

Evan just nodded and looked at his Jared. He had his army uniform on, but he still looked beautiful as ever.

"I love you"
Evan breathed out.

This caused Jared to giggle and reply,
"I love you too"

They pulled into the garage and plopped themselves on the couch.

"Are you all in one piece?"
Evan asked, smiling.

"Mm, not exactly..."
Jared pulled up his pant leg and revealed a prosthetic from his knee down.
"I lost it in an explosion, but other than that, I'm still your hottie hubby!"

Jared winked and finger gunned at Evan, to which Evan snorted and rolled his eyes.

"I'll admit, I will miss your leg."
Evan said holding up a finger.

Jared yawned and stretched.

"Awe is baby Jare-Jare tired? Should I but Jare bear to bed?"
Evan cooed.

Jared just nodded and leaned into Evan. Evan picked up the small, yet now muscular man and carried him to their room.

Evan set him down on the bed and kissed his forehead.
"Have a nice nappy time baby boo"

Jared was already asleep.
