Evan and Jared were sitting together on Evan's bed. Evan was playing Jared love songs on his guitar. Despite Jared's smile, Evan noticed that he looked kind of down.

"Jared, are you okay? You look out of it." Evan softly asked. Jared sighed.

"Yeah.. no. I'm- I have to move. And it's not even anywhere close. I'm moving to Virginia because my dad got some stupid clique promotion in his job in Microsoft." Jared started tearing up. "I'm gonna have to leave you."

Evan was shocked to say the least. He inhaled and started playing his guitar again.

The last note hung in the air. Both boys were crying. Neither of them wanted Jared to leave, but now he will feel more comfortable about it because he knows that Evan will always love him no matter how far away they are.

Evan put the guitar to the side and pulled Jared into his lap. They cried together knowing that they'll have to be apart. But their love stays when he goes.
