Y/N POV
We got out of the car and walked inside, this was NOT what I was expecting at all. The walls were dark red with velvet curtains hanging everywhere, even though there were no curtains. It reminded me of a place where you would go to, to see a fortune teller. There were many bookshelf a with books on them, and at the end there was a crystal ball, with pillows for people to sit on, and extra in the corner. The room was candle lit, and most definitely different from the outside. The floor was velvet carpet as well, and the books had strange symbols on them. "Now, this is just one place were each member of The Single Hand goes to either study or banish demons. Since we are dealing with Kayla, we can't just banish her, after all she is the most powerful." Joe made that sound like it was obvious, which to him it is. "Quickly now, come over and sit on the pillows, there are extras in the corner over there." He pointed to to pillows in the corner. I grabbed a pillow and sat down with my friends and Joe. "Ok, so what are we doing? Going Wicked Witch of the West (West, right?) style and look through the crystals ball to see our friends and Kayla?" Corl asked sarcastically, I looked at Corl with a really? face, but he just rolled his eyes. "Corl, what are you saying? He is helping us" I whisper to him "Yeah I know, but this seems strange, magic isn't real." He is being ridiculous, magic is real, is must be. If it isn't, then how could you explain demons? Or how they just through your friends to a wall or freeze them? Magic must be real "Oh really? Then explain Kayla throwing people to walls and making them just stay there or freeze them, for all I know she could probably make a magic potion to make people fall in love with her!" I whisper back to Corl, he just sat there in silence defeated.
