Skye lay alone in the cold dark empty cell thinking about what she had done.

Why had she spoken?.

She sighed, she couldn't stand by and let her father be disrespected and humiliated like that.

She could tell that Prince Zed was evil it was written all over him why did her father decide to come here?

Tears rolled down her eyes, their fate had been sealed. Would Prince Zed really take over their kingdom. How long would she be locked up, her father was also locked up.

If only she had stayed home.

She buried her face in her hands as more tears began to flow, the sound of the door rattling  made her raise her head and the door opened.

"Come with me" a guard said holding the handle of the door which he had opened.

"No" She replied

"If you want your people to live come with me" he ordered she eyed him suspiciously and hesitantly followed him

He led her to a room and stood by the side.

"Go in" he gestured opening the door and she complied moving slowly into the room.

Immediately she passed the doorway, the door locked behind her.

"Hey open up!" She cried shock by what had happened and began banging the door but there was no reply.

"Hello!" She shouted even louder slamming her fist into the door.

Sighing, she turned to the room walking in deeper.

"Hello" she called taking in hrr environment. Everything was well arranged and furnished like someone stayed here but she couldn't see anyone.

"Hello?" she called again and yet still no reply.

Suddenly she felt like she was not alone and the lamps in the room became dim.

"Princess Skye" someone whispered in her ear from behind causing her to scream and jump, she heard a familiar dark chuckle.

"What are you doing here?" She asked her heart in her throat.

"It is where I belong, you are in my chambers" he replied smiling  that smile that made her weary.

"What am I doing here?" She asked confused trying not to be distracted by his beauty. His hair was messy the first three buttons of his coat were undone revealing a bit of his perfect body and his voice was still a marvel.

"I never expected King Alexander to show up with his daughter" he said seeming to br in thought.

"Why am I here" she asked again and he laughed.

"The rumours were true" he smiled walking over to her making her move back subconsciously.

"What rumours?"She asked and he took greater steps towards her and she frantically moved faster.

"That you are indeed a beautiful woman"

"The fairest lady of them all" he said stopping in his tracks and so did she out of shock of what he had said as she took in the man standing in front of her.

He gave her a little push causing  her to land on the wall behind her and in a second he was crushing her against it.

Her breath hitched from their closeness while he just stood there staring deep into her eyes as if trying to read her soul but she kept eye contact with him and noticed in his Amber eyes there were streaks of red.

"What do you want?" She finally found her voice.

"Let's make a deal" he smiled crushing her further into the wall and she could feel heat emanating from him as if burning. her skin. His presence was scalding like he was literally fire.

"You are hurting me" she gasped he looked down at her, seemed to realize and then stepped back.

Her skin was hot and her hand slightly reddened.

"You are not human are you?" She asked and he smiled.

"Why? Does my beauty make you think such?" He asked in a prideful tone.

"You feel like fire" she nurmured, he stared at her frowning a bit before walked out of the room, and once again the door opened for him like he had commanded it to and it shut immediately so she couldn't follow him.

"Prince Zed!" She called rushing after him trying to pull open the door but to no avail.

This was hopeless, she thought.

What kind of deal did he want to make with her, what could she offer him?.

She looked around the room and shivered, the theme was dark, the paintings were of deaths, blood-based and mythical creatures.

"He happens to find comfort in the paintings" She heard a voice behind her and she jumped, screaming.

"Calm down I am not going to hurt you" the voice said and she slowly turned around to see the owner.

"I am Pharian," he introduced walking towards her.

"I must leave now though Zed is returning I will see you again Princess Skye" he smiled and then disappeared immediately as Zed entered the room.

Skye began to feel dizzy, the world around her spinning. She was trying to process everything she had just seen.

Prince Zed noticing her unfocused vision, pulled her to him.

His expression that of anger but he controlled it.

"I will go straight to the point" he sighed.

"I shall release your father and let your kingdom be" he said and despite her dizziness, she smiled.

"Really?" She asked happy and his smile returned. that evil smile.

"Yes but I have a condition" he said causing her to frown.

Of course he would not release them that easily.

"What is your condition?" She asked and he smiled.

"Marry me...
