Pharian and Beatrice's wedding spread round the whole kingdoms they had been already married for seven days and Zed had tried to shoo his brother away from his kingdom.

He barely saw Skye as often as he wanted to and she wasn't too intrested in him as he was always with Audrey or throne room.

He had just finished the meeting he had with some other kings who believed in the war while others didn't when a maid came in to give him news.

"Sire the lady has been found vomiting in her chambers she looks pale and refuses to let anyone in" the maid informed and Zed frowned.

"Which lady?" He asked.

"Lady skye" the maid said and Zed rose marching towards Skye's room it was locked.

"Skye!" He banged his fists on the door but there was no reply using his eyes the door unlocked and he entered to find her sleeping on the floor her face looked pale and she was clenching her stomach as she slept.

He immediately picked her up the sight frightening him her body felt cold and he became worried.

"Call the physician!" he ordered and the maid immediately did so he checked and found out she was still breathing.

"Skye" he whispered her name slowly caressing her face and her eyes began to open and when they did they found Zed staring at  her with a worried expression.

"Why are..." Before she could finish she had the urge to regurgitate but Zed stopped her, pushing his hand away so she wouldn't vomit on him she made it to the bathroom and released the contents of her stomach which was nothing but bile. Skye began to worry something was wrong with her.

Zed who was standing by the door walked up to her splashing water on her pale face.

He lifted her in his hands but she was too weak to struggle he placed her back on the bed and the physician arrived.

Zed glared at the man who bowed Zed was panicking that Skye could have been poisoned.

"Apologies my king" the man bowed immediately going to Skye's side to do a check up on her by the time he had finished all the necessary check ups he turned to the king.

"What is wrong with her?" Zed asked.

"Sire I have good and bad news" the man informed that made Skye worried.

"What do you want to hear first sire?" The man asked but Zed was already frustrated.

"I will still hear both news either way wouldn't I?" Zed snapped.

"Forgiveness my king the good news is that the lady is with child" the physician announced and Zed's strong countenance fell and his eyes softened as he looked at Skye who herself was shocked.

Zed sat himself beside her and kissed her head hugging her to him smiling continuosly.

"But sire the lady has not been eating for a few days and this can be dangerous to the child's health which I hope has not been affected she will need proper and delicate care in the future" the physician said and Zed turned to glared at Skye who looked elsewhere.

How was she supposed to know that she was with child she did not desire food at all.

"You may leave" Zed said and the man bowed leaving the room closing the door so that only Zed and Skye were left in the room.

"Even if you hate me would you want to murder our child?" Zed asked.

"I did not know I was with child" she admitted.

"I did not desire food" She sighed and Zed's frown softened of course she wouldn't want to eat when she kept on vomiting.

"Come here" he urged her into his arms and Skye thought back to their time at the village that was the last time she had layed with him. But she did not enter his arms and only glared at him.

"Go to your beloved wife I don't need you" Skye said and Zed frowned not only at her words but because his hands were still stretched to receive her which she didn't move to.

"You are my beloved wife so I'm here" he said and Skye snorted.

"Because I am with child?" She asked.

"Because you are mine" he said pulling her into his arms but his actions were gentle.
