The Lycanthian Houndlizard is it's own unique Houndlizard. Upon the day time it is completely reptile, capable of laying eggs and hunting like a monitor lizard. They are smart, quick and stand to the height of a human's chest.

Upon the Night time, they change greatly. They become taller than a human, their scales flip and release hair making them relatively wolf like, their snout grows longer along with their claws, their eyes change to a color best for the night time. Houndlizards technically have scales or hair, can lay eggs or give live birth. this does a lot. When a Houndlizard is pregnant she holds the egg inside of her if it's her time to lay she lays the egg at day, but if she is due at night the calcium around the shell dissolves inside of her and she prepares herself to go into labor. The Night form has tufts of hair that spike up on the head to look like ears. These are hunters that keep an eye on you no matter what you do. they may not attack and kill you, they are only making sure you don't harm them.
