The acid burned away at her torso, chest, and eyes. He tried healing his own daughter (Dustin is currently over 1500 i think but here he was only about 200 years old) but with no luck. His daughter was held hostage by the enemy mafia, the spiders at the time, and tortured until Dustin ran in and got his daughter, while trying to take as little lives as he could.
