Bonnie teleported to the only place she knew was safe, which was her and her father's house. She breathed heavily, running her hand through her robotic ears as she looked at Popgoes and Strings. "Everyone okay?"

Strings nodded before looking at Popgoes. "You okay, Pop?"

There wasn't a response. Popgoes was almost limp. Lifeless.

Bonnie quickly rushed to the weasel's side and her eyes widened when she saw a cut in his chest. A cut just large enough for a hand to reach through...and his heart was gone.

"N...no..." Strings breathed, realizing that The Epitomes must've taken it.

Bonnie was silent before she screamed and punched the wall beside her. "WHY DOES SIMON HAVE TO TAKE EVERYTHING AWAY FROM US FOR NO REASON!?!?" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

Strings was just silent like she was, staring at her.

"W-WHY CAN'T ANYTHING GO RIGHT...FIRST MY DAD GETS BIT BY THAT STUPID ROBOT AND PRACTICALLY GOES CRAZY, THEN MY MOM DISAPPEARS OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH, THEN MY UNCLE DIES, AND THEN I DIE BECAUSE OF A STUPID PRANK!!! AND THEN MY DAD DIES BECAUSE OF THAT DAMN SKELETON!!!" Bonnie screamed as she kept punching the wall over and over again, for no reason other than pure anger. "I-I CAN'T EVEN GET THE CHANCE TO GET TO KNOW MY OWN SIBLINGS WHILE THAT PURPLE DEMON JUST TAKES EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME!!!"

After punching a giant hole in the wall, Bonnie finally slid to her knees, having lost the strength to even keep standing. The tear tracks painted on her face were glowing like a lighthouse.

Strings felt absolutely awful as Bonnie started to sob her new robotic eyes out. He crawled over to her...and wrapped his lanky arms around her.

Bonnie looked at Strings, still sobbing as she hugged him tightly. She buried her face into his shoulder, just wanting to cry.

Strings felt like he wanted to cry as well. The animatronics he called his siblings were gone and he had just lost Popgoes to Simon...he trusted Simon. He should've seen right through his deception. How could he not see he was up to no good?

But no matter how much Strings wanted to cry, he knew he physically couldn't. He wasn't designed to.

It felt like an eternity for both of them until Bonnie finally forced herself to stop crying.

"...spirits get their happiest day. That's what all the stories of Freddy's said..." Bonnie whispered. "When do I get mine...?"

She then wiped her eyes of the glowing tear tracks. "I-I'm being selfish...you deserve your own happiest day too. All of you do."

Strings' eyes softened. "You're not being selfish, Bonnie...f-from what I just heard, you've gone through tragedy after tragedy. Long before Father even designed me..."

Bonnie wiped her eyes, taking a deep breath. "My life wasn't all tragedy and some people probably have it worse, b-but...why do I lose so many people...? E-even when I'm dead?"

Strings shrugged. "I-I dunno...I mean...you're not technically dead."

Bonnie turned. "Uhh...what?"

"I mean, you're more a spirit wandering. Until a spirit traverses over to the afterlife, they're not technically dead, right?" Strings asked.

Bonnie was silent...before snorting and laughing a little. She wiped her robotic eyes again. "I-I have no idea how that's f-funny...I'm being corrected in what I called myself an expert in."

Strings smiled a bit at her laughing, since he too just wanted something positive.

"I-I mean, I guess I'm not FULLY dead. Mostly dead maybe? Can we call it that?"

Strings nodded. "Yeah. Let's call it that."

"Thanks, little brother." Bonnie smiled. "But...we gotta stop Simon somehow. I know that was always the worry from the start, but he's gone too far."

Strings sighed. "Our issue is finding him. And actually having a way to stop him."

Bonnie nodded before she hummed. "Maybe we can get one of those creepy animatronics rewired and have him take us there."

Strings' eyes widened. "Hey! That could work! An actual plan!!! That's a good start!!!"

Bonnie smiled before her eyes widened. "...uhh...I'm sensing the yellow one again."

Strings turned and sure enough, the door was smashed open by Epitome Blake, who roared as loud as he could.

But neither Bonnie or Strings was afraid of him anymore, even when Epitome Blake lunged at them once again.

Bonnie just grabbed the axe and slashed off Epitome Blake's head clean off.

Strings yelped, screaming at how calmly Bonnie did that.

Bonnie narrowed her eyes. "Relax. He'll just reattach his head."

"DON'T EVER DO THAT TO A HUMAN BEING-"

And then, on cue, black goo began to reattach Epitome Blake's head, but Strings took that as his chance to grab the monster and tie him up, including tying up his jaw so he couldn't bite his way through.

Bonnie completely ignored how Strings somehow got his hands on rope and got to work. She was thankful that her dad had taught her one or two things about robots.

She ripped open the rib cage of Epitome Blake and got to work. "Just keep him still!"

Strings nodded and forced Epitome Blake to stay still, with the monster thrashing around in his grip.

Bonnie kept working before suddenly seeing...Blake's heart. Regular Blake. She took it out and suddenly, Epitome Blake shut down.

"Did you do it?" Strings asked.

Bonnie stood up. "...this is Blake's heart. But...I can sense something in it...this weird feeling I could sense in all these monsters. Like they're in Agony."

Strings' eyes widened. "Wait...you're saying...this is Blake...?"

"N-not really." Bonnie said. "It's powered by Blake's heart, but the heart has been corrupted. It's shut off Blake...but technically speaking, if he was shut off, we should be able to turn him on again. I just dunno how to find the switch if you get what I mean."

Strings nodded. "I think I do! But, that means Simon corrupted all of the guys somehow!"

"But why...?" Bonnie asked. "Hmm...he wanted Popgoes, likely to complete the set. He must've sent Blake to stop us from getting to him."

She then smirked and got to work, with Strings seeing a toolbox and a bunch of circuits nearby.

"Thankfully? I know what I'm doing." Bonnie grinned.

A lot of time passed before finally, Bonnie managed to connect Blake's corrupted heart back to the system.

Epitome Blake stood up, growling again, but now he had a new mission. He then ran off.

"FOLLOW HIM!" Bonnie cried, grabbing Strings and running after the badger.

They had one chance to get this right.
