Sans was teaching a class. All of them, every class in this school, from the hero courses to general studies, were doing an amazing job learning about souls. It was a topic that even the slackers (and let's be honest, every school had its slacker) were involved in and keeping up with. For that alone, Sans was personally proud of himself. These next few weeks, Sans wouldn't be having classes with classes 1-A or 1-B, though. They would only be doing hero classes and their internships. Sans was a little bummed they were missing out, but he had fun with the remaining classes regardless. There were some notable students who seemed to be taking a particular interest in souls and applying that knowledge to other classes. Shinso Hitoshi was one from the general studies. In his spare time, Sans and Shota had both been training him since he had what it takes to be a hero. There was also the support course's Mei Hatsume, who was applying her knowledge on souls to her 'babies'. Sans didn't dare ask what her babies were. Ronaudo Keage of the management class was also a notable mention in his class.

"how do you think their doing?" Sans asked Shota as they headed to lunch. "Who, the kids?" Shota asked, making Sans nod. "I'm sure they are doing fine. Proving themselves and learning valuable lessons and what it means to be a hero." Sans hummed as they entered the lounge. Papyrus and Undyne weren't there. Those two were out looking for an agency willing to take them under Nezu's recommendation. Alphys, Sans noticed, also wasn't here. If he had to guess, she was with Mei helping her with her babies. That left Hizashi, Toshinori, Ken, Nemuri, Sekijiro, and themselves. "Hey, howz my favorite couple?" Hizashi was the first to greet them as they came in. Without missing a beat, Sans and Shota gave the Voice Hero the same response. "Tired and hungry." Hizashi couldn’t help laughing at the pair while the only woman in the room tsked. "Ignore him, boys. There's some bento in the fridge, courtesy of Lunch Rush." Sans took the small shortcut to the fridge eagerly. "thanks midnight-" She hummed while Sekijiro looked at his rival homeroom teacher. "How does he do that?" Shota sweet dropped and shrugged. "Magic." Sans brought bento over for his boyfriend.

Sans was waiting on Izuku and Katsuki to come back from their first day of training. He had a feeling - a deep unease. He couldn't quite explain it, but something deep in his soul told him that something big was going to happen, that the past was slowly creeping up to bite him. He had been having a lot of dreams from the past as of late. Dreams of Reset, of Frisk, of the genocide routes, and it had Sans wondering if it was because they'd been in America or if his soul was being reminded of something deeper? His chain of thought was snapped for now, as Katsuki came in, grumbling and irritated at Jeanist. Izuku also seemed to be troubled. His soul was crying out to help someone. "rough day, boys?" The blonde snarled like a vicious dog, saying something about how he learned nothing while Izuku sighed, choosing to stay quiet and troubled. Sans could only nod along to Katsuki's words, unsure if he was even supposed to learn anything other than who he was working with today. "maybe tomorrow will be better, bud." He suggested before he decided to get into the training. Izuku wasn't going to talk to him now.

It was a surprise to be called by their agency during the day. Sans hadn't had very many daytime jobs other than teaching. What made things a little more nerve-wracking was that they were going to the agency that Izuku was interning at. Sans knew it was connected to whatever was bothering the kid. Red flag number two came with how many heroes were there. Sans spotted Papyrus among them, and with him was Undyne. The former captain seemed to have taken the opposite approach to her costume than Papyrus. It looked like she was in a blue wetsuit that was almost the same color as her skin. In one hand was one of her green spears, ready to be used at a moments notice. The Spear Hero: Justice. No matter what, it seemed those two would always be a dynamic Duo. Even their names fit together - Justice and Chivalry. Sans didn't have time to think too much more on it, though. They were invited into for debriefing. It was time to find out what was on his students' minds and how he could help.

Yakuza. It wasn't a word Sans had heard before, but from what Nighteye, Gran Torino, and even Shota were saying about it, they were like the League of Villians. The difference seemed to be that the Shie Hassaikai have been around since before quirks. Before monsters had been freed from the barrier. They were criminals dealing in illegal trades and murders, among other things. Now, it seemed the trade were bullets that could halt quirks. Damage that part of the soul. From what he could understand, it was an incomplete drug, but... it scared the hell out of him, knowing such a drug could exist. If it could stop a quirk on a human, what could it do to a monster? Sans couldn't imagine being unable to use his magic. He could imagine all the magic in his body being dispelled because of the drug, killing him. Sans fisted his hands to keep them from shaking. He tried to remind himself that quirks and magic were completely different. Quirks derived from magic, yes, but they weren't the same. He, Papyrus, and Undyne would be ok, and they would help everyone here stop the Shie Hassaikai from selling any more of this drug.
